I like the part where it just plays Halcyon+On+On in the middle
i dont hear much of a difference between the original and the cover once the main melody comes in (on version 1) ![]()
If no one noticed. But even Orbital seems to be trying to cash back in on the Halcyon+On+On track:

Just don't fuck with the Halcyon+On+On
Ya, even though Ortibal didn't (probably) do that "Halycyon (again)" track, didn't they use to play it mashed-up with "Shot Through the Heart" and "I Believe in a Thing Called Love"? That track gets no respect I tell ya.

Orbital to reform to headline Big Chill 2009 Orbital Orbital Dance act reunite to play at the bash next August * Nov 21, 2008 * 2 Comments * Orbital news, reviews, video and tour dates * Add Orbital to MyNME Orbital have reformed after five years and will headline the Big Chill 2009. The dance duo, whose split after their last gig headlining the Other Stage at Glastonbury in 2004, will head up the line-up for the Eastnor, Herefordshire bash, which will take place on August 7, 8 and 9 next summer. Speaking about their reformation, Orbital's Phil Hartnoll said in a statement: "It's not an exercise in nostalgia, the time just seems right. Everything just seemed to fall into place. "We've got 15 years of active service, making song. If you boil that down to a 90-minute festival set you should get something thoroughly exciting from beginning to end. Let's put some fun back into it." No other acts on the bill have been announced yet. Keep checking NME.COM for ticket details when announced. Acts including Leonard Cohen, The Mighty Boosh band and Roisin Murphy were on the bill for last August's bash. |
