Nice... very handy and sturdy... almost ever house on my street in Brossard had one, except us. My dad had 3 sons and 3 shovels. *&^%$

It's made of plastic tarp like the tarp you use at camping, not saran wrap folks. I've seen them old up with 2 feet of snow and survived the great icestorm.

The trouble is... it's an eyesore. They're just purely practical rather than esthetic. They're banned in most municipalities around the GTA, including Aurora. There's one guy around the corner that has it up all year, but this bylaw is only enforced if someone complains.

right now:

Its an eyesore when there's no snow, but there's a bylaw that permits them only from mid november to mid april.

GTA to Torontonians is roughly the equivalent to CUM to Montrealers, lol, though our acronym sounds less nasty than Montrealers'

They also won't work in Toronto, because Toronto is full of FUGLY new cookie-cutter clone homes with hidden front doors and in-your-face where's-the-house garages going all the way to the street.

the carport thing is nice but it won't work for street parking. fuck if i had a drive way i would be much better off. i wouldn't even car if i had a carport. a drive way would be good enough for me.
