i don't like ffX very much, the old ones we're way better, i don't know, to many in game 'cinematic' graphics, as for the graphics itself, they we're some what of a failure. It has a linear feel to it. i just expected to much of it, but maybe that's because of the positive reviews (they we're too positive). this is really overhyped.

the game is too childish. the character especially.. but its fun nontheless.

ff7 is still the best imo

the omega ruins are full of various sphere grid spheres... including level 4 key spheres... just input x-74 and y-36 for the airship coordinates... there's some tough monsters in there though...

As my avatar might suggest, I have played FFX... extensively.

I have played through the entire game four times thus far, once without using the Sphere Grid. I have one saved game in which all my characters have 255 of every stat besides luck, 999 MP, and approximately 83000 HP.

I really like FFX, I think it's the best FF since VII (Although IV is, now and forever, my favorite).

Sky: Other than the omega ruins, the best way to get level 4 key spheres is by bribing them from Chimera Brains, which you encounter on the calm lands. It's something like 100,000 gil for two of them.

I actually liked the ending to this game - it wasn't the same predictable kind of ending that FFVIII and FFIX had.

As for Blitzball, I'm not a huge fan of it since there's no challenge after the first few games, although winning the game in Luca is fun.

Square has not officially confirmed the release of the sequels, but has been working on them. As of now there is no planned US or European release, and they are likely to be of a significantly reduced length as well.

Haven't played 10
9 was shit
8 was ok..
7 was incredible

I used to be addicted when i was younger but I don't play many RPGs now

Best RPG ever,

FFX Is great!

But IMO FFX Isn't the best FF, because the story isn't interesting at all.. The dialogs are too long.

Posted by dj_nomiz on Sep-14-2002 05:01:

i neva played any of the previous FF games besides FFX and im loving it... besides the long speeches etc. etc... wat i hate is tryna find those dictionary things on the ground... i keep using gamefaq to find them, and that kinda ruins the game coz of all the hints and tips the faqs give out... but im still lovin every bit of it specially the stunning graphics, the temples are a bit annoying tho

Which thing, I didn't saw a "spiderman logo". Ending was a bit of a disappointment.

You're referring to Yu Yevon, I assume. I can see what you're saying, if so, but it's not that similar IMHO.

Still, dont you think that swuaresoft should have put a little more effort into it than having a boss that could resemble something as simple as the spiderman logo? Feels like they got lazy near the end, just like alot of their other games (Xenogears)

They didn't get lazy with Xenogears...Squaresoft made the company that produced it rush the game so it could come out shortly after FF7. So the company said the hell w/ Squaresoft and took their asses over to Namco on one of their subdivisions called "Monolith Soft". There are rumors of the Xenogears team remaking the game for PS2 and doing it the way they wanted to originally.

Xenogears was still a really good game although the second disk was mostly text. One of the deepest and most confusing storylines of any game I've played to date. I actually had to refer to a website to understand most of the stuff occuring.

That's what I was talking about. I dont care what happened, To have Fei sitting in a chair talking, and then a boss battle, then repeat that again, I dunno I call it kind of lazy. Other games are rushed too, but they just turn out crap.
