some of the best pro wrestling now comes from ROH (Ring of Honor) which is based in the same sorta area as ECW was. Some of the best pure athletes in the wrestling world have been there or are there, guys who don't all have the huge size that you see in like wwf/wcw/tna etc but the skills are there.
