When I started to make music, I had troubles even reaching 3 minutes, nowadays, I have problems keeping the tracks under 10 minutes :-)

working on it though!

hey Airbase

Nice to see u in this Forum, I like your Tracks VERY much

In the German Techno-guide "Raveline" has been a Review from the Vinylrelease of your Track "Emotion". The rating was not that good (3 out of 6), but the mag is known for having more the harder techno stuff in it. Later this evening I will scan it and translate it for u, if u dont have it yet

plz keep on producing so good tracks like "Dreamer" and "Theme from the Rock" !

whould you be able to tell me what they wrote in the review? Or did they just present a rating on that?

(didnt think anyone was about to like emotion, so 3 of 6 is better than I would rate it myself :-)

great tracks man, and I like your site design, but I had afew questions:

When you gave your tracks to the record lables to get pressed to vinyl, did you give them in 44/16 quality or 96/24 .. cause right now I make my tracks in 96/24 and they are huge files.. I wouldnt make them this high quality if the lables dont request it.

and

Does EMT Design have a webpage, or some kind of contact info for demo submission? I'm collecting A&R addresses now for my upcomming promo cd.

keep up the crazy work

okay i will make a translation

its in the categorie "Hands up" along with RMB, Marco V, Rhythym Gangsta, 4 Clubbers, etc.

Raveline 06/02:
Airbase - Emotion/Club Point (Gor for it)
"These both tracks are more different than two tracks can be different. "Emotion" is a - what the name also expresses - with Feelings and lachrymal gland-factor fullfilled track, which starts with a nice pret beat, but then in the break comes to an old-fashioned and commercial style drifting track. In no way u can deny the the good quality of this track, but simply a bit coolness and suprising is missing, too really top the very full mass of similiar productions. With "Club Point" its very different, this tracks is much more harder and there are not so many (unnecessary) emotions in it. The tracks comes back to the dance-addiction in the feeds and heads of the people and pushes them with a big, progressiv beat and a pumpin bassline forward. 3/6"

Oh my god, its very hard too translate a text which is full of "german-online" expression, but i hope u understand all

btw. Marco V - Godd got also 3/6 and as u can see the magazin really likes the harder stuff more

Do you have any plans for a U.S A. tour? I'd love to see you live!
Thank you for your music and for making the electronic music scene the incredible scene that it is....

Hi there!
Thats alot of questions you got there! I will try to answer them all!
Yes, I started out as a mp3-artist, if thats how you want to name it. I've been on mp3.com for almost 4 years! I've used artistnames as Jeep, Alcobase, Crimton, Transic and Raphael Trice. What I think about mp3? Well, trance is not really a big business, its nothing you make a living on. Not even Tiesto would make his living out of his producing! So I believe mp3 is a good way to reach people that usually wouldnt hear my music. But, when my tracks are spreaded all over the world before they are supposed to, then I get pretty pissed off. I dont know how its made, but it IS made in some way!
About quality, a mp3-file encoded in a decent rate (224 VBR1 Lame, is exactly as a CD for any peoples ears I believe. And I'd guess that 95% of all the population on this planet would not hear the difference between a CD and a 128kbps mp3-file (if the file is good encoded that is!). Vinyl has a good quality, but as soon as it is brought out of its cover, into the air, it gets less good, and then CD is better, as dust is attaching on the vinyl. Vinyl has the best sound, until the 12" is taken out of its cover for the first time. Other than that, I dont really care if people think that vinyl sounds more "warm", etc etc, I think its more in your mind than in your ears. CD is still the best, if you dont take DAT or ADAT or digital media files (wav-, aiff-, sd2-files etc) in the calculation!

A USA tour? Well, if someone books me, I'd go there in a second, but this far, no, im still a rookie, a beginner and totally fresh in the business! I got a long way to go!

There you go!

Regards
Jezper (Airbase)

Dreamer, Emotion, Theme from The Rock, and Unity of Earth kick major ass! I think you underrate your tracks.

u make music and melodies people want to hear, that is a good thing!!!!

Can you DJ? That would be a great opportunity for you and your producing, plus get you some $$$$$$$$$.

Theme From the Rock, Emotion, and Genie are all super quality tracks.

If anyone haven't heard these, you are missing out!

I wanna know what track your remixing
Unity of Earth, Emotion, Theme from Rock are all incredible, I've got a load of tunes on here that I've yet to listen to (got cable recently, not caught up yet).
If u do press the whitelabel of theme from the rock, I want a copy
