it always makes me happy to watch him head bang whilst betwixing the treble knob.

Oh.

But still, when he moves those sliders (or however they're called), he barely moves them, it looks like he's trying to be very very precise, as if they have to be in the exact, specific place.

What's wrong with precise mixing?

Hook + lots of drugz + mixer = lulz

No you don't, it was never about what the DJ looked like. Two words:

John Digweed

Sometimes I yell at him to make sure he's not just asleep up there.

Is that when you're taking a break from cupping his balls?

Jeff Mills mixing isn't precise in the least, it's fast and furious, but it's often out - more so now than what he used to be. When you play as many records as he does during a set I guess you can let him off with the odd trainwreck.

Not precise mixing... He looks like he's moving sliders 1 millimetre by 1 millimetre. Not necessary if you ask me.

His therapist told him not to interact with people in overly crowded situations, for fear it might cause a panic attack to to his anxiety problems

so he decided to make a career out of it

jk..Digweed--you're as badass as EDM gets

Sometimes I yell at my mixer rather than eq.

Gotta look busy somehow! But seriously, sometimes there really isn't anything to do and when you got a bunch of people looking at you, you don't wanna look stupid. So it's either twist some knobs or strike a jesus pose

Or realize that no, your average club-goer doesn't care what you look like when you're mixing. Following that, who cares what the other people think if you don't look busy? Fuck 'em. If it comes out of the speakers just fine, don't worry about it.

People really need to stop putting so much emphasis on the appearance of DJs.

Listen, Jake, if people didn't stare at the dj continuously, how would Sasha get his cigarettes lit?
