Really liked the set man, you already know how much I love the funky stuff. Intro track was great, works wonders to set the mood for the rest of the set. I'm feeling a bit iffy about some of the mixes though.

For example, the mix into "Everything's Alright" felt a bit rushed. This is just IMO, but I think you could've ridden on "Blue Dub" a bit longer and allow the tracks to blend longer for a smoother transition. Another one is the mix into "Love on the Line", which started great, with a nice blending of both tracks. But I think you rushed it a bit again and took out the outgoing track too soon. Again, this is only my personal opinion

Then, one transition that I specially liked and actually had me smiling was the one from "Gentle" into "Landslide". I think you let it sneak in at just the perfect time and allowed the tracks to blend fantastically. I'm absolutely in love with "Landslide" from the first time I heard it; it's definitely the best cut in the "Port Maria EP" but somehow I've heard everyone play "Diyisi" instead.

Regarding the tracklisting, I thought it was superb. This is exactly the kind of sound I've always liked and which sadly is getting hard to come by these days. I've heard some of the tracks before and it was nice listening to them mixed together. The standout track for me was definitely "Lunatic", it has a 2005-2006 Luke Fair-Desyn Masiello vibe. It's just sick man.

This already had repeated listens from me and I can assure you it will get many more. Hope to hear a new mix from you soon
Gentle to Landslide eh?, i think i got the same effect from Belvedere to Land Of July

will download your set next haha, will check out the transition

woscar thank you for this in depth nice review

Actually youre right about those two transitions I'm not satisfied with them. Like you said a mix into Everything's is a little bit rushed but this track has short intro and then suddenly starts with a tricky samples. As for the mix into Love On The line. This remix has something wrong with vocals I mean I got this track going nicely in phrase with moody bang but then vocals from Love starts something like out of phrase is hard to explain you would have to mix it yourself to see what Im taking about.

The transition from gentle into landslide is good, but then again it's a lot easier to mix deep house tracks than those funky discoish house where I always have to mix in key

thank you once again for listening, and make sure you check out my mixes archive because there are some sets from the beginning of 2008 that I think passed the radar on TA because I was new here and nonone gave a f&%ck

Cheers
Seb

Finally took a listen to this, and I'm really liking what I hear... nice and deep, I haven't listened enough to comment on the individual tracks, but this is gonna certainly get a lot of play from me.
