hey guys,
it was actually Total Departure - but we played grindhouse before it because lots of people guessed that track when I asked for guesses.
It wasn't supposed to be a big deal - it was just supposed to be fun thing to do to guess...
We had a special edit for midnight that Justin Gourley did (of basic), but we started it a bit too early and the countdown was off. LOL. We did our celebrations for 2009 a few seconds earlier than everyone else!
Good times. Thanks to those who hung around our stage for so long and danced their asses off with us.

My review: I didn't really get into the music going on in any of the tents. I didn't like the vibe in the main tent, for sure. Everybody seemed to be in their own little world, or in the world of their little group...trying to hard to act like their having a good time. Most of my fun was had walking around, doing rides, interacting with strangers in strange ways
...paid for 6 strangers with nice smiles to ride the 'dragon swing' ride thing. That was $6 very well spent. ...was on that ride when the final seconds of 2008 were counted down.
By 2 am I was totally sober...up a tree, out of step...
...then I found 'Architects of Sound' playing some progressive house at the non-tent stage. There were about 20 hard core fans digging that stuff, that you just had to move too. I left about 3 o'clock.
no lines for drinks whatsoever, but the line for the bathrooms took about 15 minutes most of the night. What can say, the music for the most part wasn't doing it for me.
digweed at the mayan FTW!
