one+ one party studio A WMC 2008, all djs rocked it KOS, Tom Budden, Nic F, and James Zabiela. at the end of the night james and nic hit the 4 decks which was another blissful night of great dance music.

also sunday school for degenerates/ burridge barrage, everyone loves leeeeeee burridge and his antics and the vibe sunday school always brought to pawnshop. what a great time, what great music, what great people.

Easily #1 in my mind from the past 3 years...one of the best ever!
Beatport 08 on Sunday was a fun way to end the week with Gabriel and Dresden
Juicy Beach 07 during the day/early evening was pretty sick as well.
James Zabiela at Beatport in 06 was great too

Most disappointing party? Armin/Markus @ Parkwest in 08.

For Armin/Markus...maybe it was the incredibly high expectations, weak (loddi dah) track selection, the the energy level in the room (or lack thereof), fewer people actually allowed in (even though they bought tickets and were waiting in line), or the new lame name of the venue, but the show just didn't compare to 07...though Markus tried to salvage it in the end.

Lessons learned: no more Armin/PVD at WMC...they've been laying too many eggs too frequently of late and there are soooo many other parties to go to.

Not exactly. it was more the club was rebranded and it was trying to cater more towards people who bought tables in 08 versus Twilo in 07. I'd put money down that the people who went in 07 and 08 love Twilo but are down on Parkwest. I'd probably go there again, but not for an Armada Night. 07 Twilo was just something special. IMHO

IMO the Phazon system in Twilo was one of the best I've ever heard. Why that system was ripped out and replaced with no-name stuff I will never understand. Those big ass light walls on the sides of the floor. Lights Out had all of the black mesh strung up everywhere. That place was fucking legendary.

RIP TWILO MIAMI

Last year Thursday night/morning/afternoon @ Space.

Sander Van Doorn and Ferry Corsten downstairs. (Saw Sander for a lil but then headed upstairs). Upstairs Eric Prydz followed by 8 hours of David Guetta! Epic!

the very first Ultra in Bayfront Park. they had the dnb & breaks stage out by the water which has always been closed off after that .

but yeah.. My first time seeing PvD close Ultra in 2001 and there was this guy on stage super fuked up trying to hold the people on the front row's hands - and he was screaming out in a high pitched voice ' it's gods bday todaaaay '

lol. weird indeed especially since i was 16!

didn't spacemen close that stage? there were chicks on stage trying to bang the dancer right there. they had his clothes like halfway off. that was a nice set by them. probably #2 on ultra highlights.

i think this was the ultra with the gatecrasher pavilion type stage also. talla played. padilla played. tall paul. great stage!
