nah i dont wanna have to be so precious with the equipment when i mix, im always careful and take heed of being accurate but those ******s break my balls and when there are way better units like 800's and 1000's (even a new cdj100) shits all over the 200's. but again each to their own.

i've never had a problem with mine: have used em pretty extensively: I smack the crap out of it too, so dunno what ya mean bout precious

if i had the money no question i would get 1000s, but what aspiring dj has 7 or 8K lying around for a beginner setup?

i havn't used 400s or 800s, but i've used 1000s a few times (once for around 7-8hrs straight), and have used the 200s in a same situation (for even longer actually in one sitting), and both get the job done fine...

maybe cause i'm a crap dj though

anyways: i think they're awesome for a new DJ, or at least one who isn't absolutely loaded...

i know all you little kiddies reading this will be wanting to come, and if your not so sure if your going to attend or not... well believe me... your spot on the dancefloor being vacant will be a dire mistake!!!!

we have had a few chances to see Ahmet Atasever, i must say i have been quite impressed with the way he plays and yeah... quite a good set! so we have the pleasure of catching him again at this event! same goes for our boy Dan_essential who is getting out there amongst it and getting his name stuck to peoples minds with his great tune selections.

ofcorse we have the big man himself. Steve Strangis and Trent McDermott playing aswell, always gotta to have the big boys in the scene playing too.

so how can you afford to miss this epic show at an epic venue?!?!?!?!

Ok so I went to the promoters meeting for this event and let me say how committed the venue owner is making this a stellar event. Room is set to be Melbournes regular home of trance. Decor is sure to be eye shattering,outdoor area is awesome and can fit 100 ppl,sound system is brilliant. I am running a glist so make sure you email [email protected] or pm me to get on it. There will be another event in Mar and then a bigger event with an epic international in May. Become part of the White Sands faithful and u wont be disappointed. Prepare to be blown away!

sound was retarded at San Tran! no monitors appaently and sound was poor if you weren't directly in front of the booth. Hope they tweak it.

Outdoor area is awesome, they just have to open it up all the way. Again at San Tran they didn't and there was a fair few people there

unfortunatly at san tran, they had technical problems and had to change mixer + turntables, but before that i heard the fold backs there working fine, it happens mate unfortunatly.

Maybe I am getting old, but you should turn it down a little as well. It was way too loud imo at San Tran! Good music, but yeah a bit too loud!
