I think I'm going to settle for a combo of tag2find and Google Desktop. Once again, thanks everyone
Anyway, Mike, I can't seem to be able any of my pdf files on Vista. I tried to tag two different pdf files in two different computers, but no matter how frantically I click on the right place, nothing happens (it's even worse here at work, because the PDF tab doesn't show at all). I thought the files were read-only, but that's not the problem.
Any idea of what's going on?
Different version of Vista maybe? I'm using Vista Business. If there's no 'PDF' tab then what about a 'Details' tab? There should be a section within there with the label 'Tag' which you can supposedly add tags to.
Sounds like you've already got a solution anyway. If that doesn't work out though then I'd come back and investigate Vista a bit more as it is really quite good at finding files quickly (once you've got them indexed that is.)
