the answer is simple; because you are out and want to have a good time.

with your logic why pay $6-7 for a drink at the bar when you can buy a bottle at the lcbo for $25 and make yourself drinks at home then?

as for all the people that bitch about pictures of people drinking from the bottle, everyone has fun in their own way. some people want pictures of them dancing while others want pictures with their friends. to each their own. who are you to burst their bubble?

I'm not bursting anyone's bubble. I just think at some point, when your pic is posted on the internet multiple times per week doing the same thing - drinking from the grey goose bottle - you start to look like a bit of a douche.

i was at market village for dinner so i stayed for a little bit of the show there afterwards and experienced some really bad singing and horrible PA system. i wanted to stay long enough to see the lion dance but i had to leave after the girl's third song.

All the music performances in both complexes were terrible, well all the ones I saw, since I went between the two.

I was there because my friends were part of the Kung Fu crew who put on the show, and the lion dancing. The dancing was great, but a bit scary at times because the stage was soo small, and there were a lot of folks up there; speaker even came down once, and it had to be caught before it fell on somebody. They started the dance a touch early, so they were going way longer than they were supposed to waiting for midnight.

A great experience overall, and I'm glad I went. I just wish the kung fu demonstrations had been longer, or 'crazier'. The master did a couple of cool things, but the students' performances were a bit quick and simple.
