Someone: Are you going to footwork tomorrow?
DJWhore: Um.. I have a life!

its definitely not that theres nothing going on...lots of decent events; just not up to par with what we usually have in the event section.

For anything EDM related, all you need is TA.

http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...p?s=&forumid=77

At the top of the Toronto page, there is a link
Click here for Toronto & S. Ont Event Listings

It has all of the EDM events you'll ever need to know in Toronto.

um no. there are tonnes of events that don't get listed on TA. Big ones to!

TA is a pretty good resource, but there are lots of promoters/clubs that don't use it.

and that's a fail
circa is pretty shoddy with their promotion on here

Why do people on EDM boards think that their board encompass the entire scene? Tribe can get pretty bad like that also. Its as if if it's not posted on the forum, its not worth going to / doesn't exist.

Lots of stuff gets spread through word of mouth, other forums, face book / social networks and good-ol flyering.

i think facebook and myspace are probably the best for keeping up to date with events, provided that you have various promoters on your friends list. every promoter that i know uses facebook.

why is that a fail if they're not going after the TA crowd?
or are doing well enough that they don't need the TA crowd?

Their Saturdays are rammed almost every week.

Fridays are slower.

True... especially when you get invited by 150,000 promoters to the SAME event.

ive trained myself to just glance quickly at the title/venue of the event and click no to most of them (yes to a few) so it doesnt really bother me any more.
