FSOB FTW!

I am upset about this one::::: NO TIGA, lineup could get better!!

Lineup will get better.

In response to a post earlier, I actually enjoyed that it was outside. The way they had it setup looked awesome. Looked I was in a damn rainforest. So tripping out and hearing mistress barbara dropping some really druggy techno made my night . I'm sure more people will be added to the lineup as well.

last year i was stuck inside because of the fire marshall. I went to the bathroom, and then i couldnt get back outside for 2 hours. :'( All my friends were in there too. i remember a group of us tried to bribe the kitchen workers to sneak us thru. lol

What I did during that incident was I was in the trance room cuz I was looking for the bathroom. I went outside and they weren't letting me pass so I went into the tranceroom, bought a beer and proceeded to buy the bartender a few shots. After a bit asked him if there was another way to get to the back and he let me in through a sideback door.

I gotta say this party is definitely something to experience once. Karu and Y is an amazing place and this party couldn't be done anywhere else IMO.

Heavy techno madness on the lineup so far...hoping for a couple more Trance bangers to be added.

So far I would consider but I still wanna see what others options are. I enjoy Roger Sanchez and Laidback Luke sets.

Yeah I want them to add some people that will just swing me to go to that party right away!

They're probably not booking a lot of trance b/c of the turnout last year. I know everytime I needed a break from all the techno madness outside and came inside for a bit it was always empty, even during SVD.

Sander I woudnt consider trance at all - but I was there for Eddie and Marco and they tore it up. Hope Eddie comes back again. But yea, overall trance was pretty dead last year - not because of the artists I would say. Promotion was terrible and artists were released late. 90 percent of sales are online and you want to jump that market before its too late.

I didn't mean SVD as trance, I meant that even a high profile artist like himself didn't pull much of a crowd at that particular venue.

It doesn't help when you have 2 Floors of Space Playing PVD at Space and ULTRA ending at midnight...

I think those 2 things had huge amounts to do with poor Trance turnout...

And for the AM only party...when it 1st started...I think the allure was the wide variety of talent at Nocturnal...then it became popular for the minimal/techno scene just bc of what happened with Richie Hawtin...and you didnt know what to expect (all these tags btw great artists)

The house room was a master clusterfuck and trance room was empty the whole time. Techno outside was pretty badass and I might end up going again. I'm going to wait and see what happens.

True. I was referring to trance overall. Fire it Up, The Kingdom,Beach Plaza Hotel, etc.

your right...i felt that way in 06...i attended alot of parties that were AMAZING with techno djs and no one attended them and it sucked...now everyone wants to go to these parties...
