| Originally posted by snatonsb Well I live in South Fl and my uncle owns that restaurant. He is 100% Thai the food is top notch. I go there every time I am down there. How ever my parents own a Thai restaurant and they are the cooks themselves so the Thai food is authentic except my parents restaurant is more in the Broward area. |

Alright folks, the map is updated...keep them coming.
I can't remember the name of the place on ocean (around 8th or 9th I believe) that serves frozen blended drinks - alcoholic of course. I had a drink there last year, aptly titled "Call me a Cab." It knocked me on my ass. Best bang for the buck if you're looking to drink during the day!
Edit: It's called Wet Willie's and it's at 760 Ocean Dr.

Espanola Way. So many amazing restaurants.
Jerry's Deli sucks bad.
Sultan around 17th and Collins has pretty good falafel w/ cucumber sauce and chicken pitas.
Pizza Rustica is better for beers than pizza IMO. Too thick. I like those hole in the wall pizza places with the thin greasy NY style on Washington.
World Resource Cafe on Lincoln Rd had some great appetizers, notably the yellow-fin tuna sushi (not a roll, forget exactly what its called). The volcano chicken was pretty great too.
I haven't had much luck with places on Ocean Dr. You pay more for the view than the food I think.

Zeke's Bar, 625 Lincoln Road, is my favorite beer bar in SoBe. Hundreds of choices from all over the world; all beers $3. You simply can't beat it.

| The Sultan Kabob 1903 Collins Avenue Miami Beach, FL 33139 305.531.8598 What do Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie know that you dont? They know that the Sultan is the ultimate after-party meal spot on South Beach, which is evidenced by pictures of the party-savvy ladies that flag the walls. Located just out the doors of ultra-hip clubs Mynt and Rok Bar, The Sultan offers delicious Greek and Turkish fare for those without Paris-Hilton sized pockets: Expect the entrees to be below $10 a pop. Open for lunch and dinner, the Sultan caters to walk-ins and those looking for takeoutIts not the type of place that takes reservations for their indoor and outdoor tables. Be sure to try the classic Gyro, a favorite for everyone looking for some tasty Middle Eastern cuisine. Finish up your meal with one of the gooey, flaky baklavas, which melt in your mouth and provide enough of a sugar rush to get you running to your next party destination. For those not interested in the late night scene, The Sultan is also open for lunch and offers a delish Greek salad and some fantastic vegetarian options. |
