Dont' want to get too personal but my girlfriend is bipolar. There actually haven't been too many outbursts, but sudden changes in life can trigger some of our more frustrating moments.

Sudden changes include me cutting my hair without telling her first.

so true....friend of mine met this guy at a bar, hung out for like 3 hours, then exchanged numbers. then immediately the guy started texting at least a hundred messages a day, and she would not respond. he kept doing it saying he's ready to get married, he really likes her, blah blah blah. Man, idk, my girlfriend is a great girl, and I like her a lot, but she gets really put off when I talk to other girls, whether it be online, or what. She thinks that I'm going to leave her or cheat on her. I'm not that kind of guy at all, but she just doesn't seem to trust me on this aspect. Anyone else deal with this?

just pay attention to their cycles

I understand that, and I know she cares for me just as much as I care for her. I dunno, maybe that level of trust will build over time. I'm glad she cares about me so much, but I think she needs to learn to take things with a grain of salt more often. She's a little too sensitive about some things.

I once dated a (redheaded) girl who dumped me at one point because she had DREAMS that I cheated on her. She thought the universe was telling her that I was unfaithful...she took a few bad dreams as an omen.

I never touched another girl while we were together.

She dumped me by waiting in my lobby for someone to open the door for her at 6am-ish, came up to my apartment and left a letter at the foot of the door in the hallway, knocks on the door and gets back in the elevator.

I couldn't believe what I was reading, or how she rationalized things when I called her on it.

No, not true. And that's not really crazy, until she starts calling you all the time, asking you where you've been, with whom; starts checking all of your facebook pictures and comments and questioning you and giving you shit about them. THAT'S crazy.

This stems from her own insecurities and her low self-esteem - you can try to be supportive and let her understand how much you care for her and how much she means to you (make her feel special). At the same time she needs to understand that you have other friends but you won't cross the line.
And be careful, if she doesn't calm down with time, it might turn into the controlling spying I mentioned above...

Mhhhm, that's a good example of crazy. Like they say, redheads are crazy in bed. And, often, crazy out of bed.

stay away from crazy chicks. they'll steal ur 100 dollar scarf and ull be forced to show up to their apartment maffioso style.

That's disturbing as hell dude. As for me, I guess there's the garden variety shit you see with most chicks that you're getting to know and realize they are undatable and crazy in the first month or 2.... same stuff most people listed already.

As for actual girlfriends, my ex-gf had a crazy streak. She was psycho-jealous for no reason, and I was constantly explaining myself out of situations there was no reason to, which ultimately was the reason for our demise. If I was going to hang out with friends, or go on a cruise or weekend vacation without her, she would purposely try to get in a fight with me about something so I would have a shitty time on my trip.

I've def had my share of crazy chicks, I think they seek me out or something lol. But here are two.

Girl 1 I met freshman year of college, she lived in the same building as me. She would always hang out on our floor which was an all guys floor, probably because she was an asian gamer girl and she liked the games and attention. So one night we end up watching Fight Club and episodes of House. Made out for like 8 ours and the entire time she was saying shit like "i think i'm falling for you." So eventually I go home pretty happy and thats when the shit started. One day she would be really emotional and try to hold hands/make out. Other days she would act like the coldest person you've ever met. Some times she would talk about how everyone she knew could die and she wouldn't care. Some days she would play it off by saying she was just brutally honest. She was also a compulsive lier. She'd say shit like "my true love died in my arms", "i use to be a pro skater for billabong", "i use to be in a gang", etc. Just crazy shit like that. I still see her from time to time because she likes to hang out at the frat i party at but I just try to ignore her. What's fucked up is that she still tries to say hi to me.

Girl 2 I met at this same frat (i should probably stop going there lol). This girl started out alright, I mean, she was decent looking and appreciated dance music. But over time she would keep adding on things that i would have to deal with. Eventually I had to take a step back mentally and realize all the shit i would have to put up with if i kept on with the relationship. Once I did that I had to break up. At first it was little things like "i'm allergic to metal" and "im allergic to pets. like dogs and cats" so thats kinda gay. After that she would say shit like "i don't really like being touched" which really sucked cuz that means she didn't even like holding hands. So eventually we have sex which was alright, she didn't really do anything which was a real mood killer. Later she got drunk and fucked some guy she was friends with and then she tells me "please don't leave me, please!" which i thought was fucked up cuz we weren't even BF or GF yet. Oh she also got engaged to an illegal mexican worker who she broke up with a few months after meeting me. I don't know why but I still went into a relationship with her and thats when the serious shit came down. Apparently she was lightly raped, the guy really wanted a blow job so he kinda forced her. Which also means no blow job for me and this also explains why she didn't do much during sex, but still she was raped before she got engaged . After I put up with all of that she has the balls to tell me that we shouldn't have sex for a while because it fucks a relationship up. At that point i was like NO FUCKING WAY and ended that shit that night. If that sounds shallow then read about all the other shit i had to put up with.

I care a lot about the guys I date...but I'm not going to get upset that my guy has interaction with other females. If he has female friends, its whatever. I have tons of male friends, and I'm not going to give them up just to be with someone.

I guess I don't believe in 'forcing' the relationship. If its not going to work, its not going to work. Why try to eliminate all the possible outside factors (and possibly make your guy think you're a low self-esteem nut job) when there are other problems? Talking to a female friend isn't going to kill the relationship, its other things.

Oh my god, yes. Nikoli, I remember him so fondly. The only guy to ever put his hands on me in an assault. I'm so happy I never did anything with him, I could never wash the disgust off. The thing was, he was NOT like this at all when we first started to date. He was really cool, loved to go to art galleries (they're okay, not my thing but fun to see), nice to everyone, nice to me, didn't pressure me in any way.

Why didn't I break up with him? I borrowed $500 from him to secure my new apartment (about two months into the relationship (which I fully intended to pay back and did)) and he demanded ALL my checks go to him and he will give me the money he deemed necessary for rent and utilities. It sucked, but I figured it would only take about a month then I could dump his ass. I didn't dare dump him before because 1. His dad is one of those ambulance chaser lawyers and I didn't want to get sued (something he threatened me with if I didn't pay him back) and 2. He warned me he would 'ruin me' if I tried to stop paying him.

So about two months go by and he's still demanding I owe him money. I look at my checks, subtract what he gives me and realize I've paid him WAY over the $500. I confront him. He then pulls up a computer program that manages your money and shows me the tab for me.

Every little expense, from the $1 piece of candy he bought me, to the very expensive dinner he paid for on my birthday, to gas mileage and cost (he insisted on picking me up and taking me to his place about 20 miles away every day) to what he deemed 'extra stress on utilities' (me turning on the bathroom light to go in there, blah blah).

He then smirks and says "Yeah, you owe me about $2000. I guess you'll just have to stay with me forever, huh?"

I eventually tell him to eat a dick (he did try to sue but was laughed out of court). He stalked me for a bit after that, but eventually (last I heard) found someone else's life to ruin.

That sounds like a fun girl right there. Are there any post-break up stories, like sobbing calls at 3am or stalking in the bushes outside your house and leaving gifts on the porch?
