Where can I download a demo? And if I were to buy it, what exactly should I buy... Is it just Counter Strike...Not some special pack or anything?

hehehehe. yeahhh counter-strike retail version is like a yellow coloured box with two police swat team looking guys on the fornt. hehe. =) or you could purchase the actual half-life and download counter-strike.

There is a special cs package.. onlly cs..and only multiplayer.. (havent seen it in the stores yet.. but its supposed to be there)

Or you can BUY half-life and download the Mod (modification) for half-life.. and guess what the mod is called: Counter-strike

MmMM i did have my fun with cs.. and sometimes still have..

Dunno if its worth the money though.. they are not gonna do radical changes anymore.. The only things goose is doing is fucking up the guns accuracy etc..

And there are waaaay to many cheaters out there

You could probably better wait for Halo, Tribes 2, TF2 (if it will ever be released) Operation flashpoint will also be THE BOMB..

Me used to play

I used to play but got tired of all the asses and whiners on public servers. I've been in a few clans and the clan matches were no different..spending an hour argueing over a server is no fun. So me quit

i used to dedicate so much time on games and shit but now it's all on ta and other stuff. i also used to serve psx, isoz, and vcd's on certain irc channels but found that it was WAY too time consuming and i always ran out of HD space!! oh well, that's my 2 cents

heheh. i hear ya both henk and shroomz. though me still plannin' on a game with a few TAs this weekend on a server just for us. i'll repost on friday or saturday about that. heh. a friendly game among friends.

Count me in. I don't get to play CS from home since we just got cable modems in my city and I'm moving in a couple of months so there isn't much point in getting one now. Anyway, I spend alot of time across the state with friends who have cable action and we play CS quite a bit. I'll be there this weekend, so I'll play if you get a server up.

excellent. so we can get a game going with about 6-8 people. i'll prolly post an ip on here sometime between friday evening - saturday sometime. hehe. stay tuned yo!

hmmm - of those I have played, they are fun - BUT!!

have you played "Deus Ex" or "Oni" - these are pretty different to all the others - and are awesome!!

yep yep!!! i forgot to mention Deus Ex! hehe. i love that game. influenced by system shock no doubt. hehe.

oni's pretty decent too! but i don't really have much to say about it. hehe. i really love mdk 2 though. a bit out of genre but such a lovely game to behold...mmm...major snipe-age....

was a good game - if it wasn't for the bugs

List the server IP's and ports you guys play on.
Then we can add them to Gamespy to see when were on and not so we can play together.
CS1.1 would be cool if it wern't for the missing x-hairs on the sniper rifles.

P.S. the awm sucks nowadays i dont care what all the newbie/veterans/whatever say.. it aint a newbie gun, but they sure fucked it up..

I wonder how you can continue to battle when your leg got blown of by an awm bullet?? I dont get it.

And adjusting my strafe jumping skills isnt cool either.. Stupid massive recoil on the mp5 etc...
You cant jump and shoot anymore the bullets go everywhere..

eheheh. though i got soooo damn tired of getting killed by damn bunny hoppers. i hate them so me glad that they changed the recoil of the mp5 while in the air. hehe. yeah removing the sniper crosshairs wasn't all that great of an idea...but hey! you know whatever. hehe.

This post is al about CS. Weel, not my kind of game. Playing Age Of Empires till I drop Dead. UT is the best shooting game, awsome graphic that runs smoothly!!!
