Yes 'Hear You Now' should have been 1 minute longer or so, but overall I think ISOS3 is a great CD. Starecase and Jericho are awesome!

In Search Of Sunrise is Ti�sto's tribute to beaches, sun and Ibiza, open air venues and those long summernights. Please welcome In Search Of Sunrise 3, the latest addition to the evergrowing success of DJ Ti�sto.
It's been over 18 months since Ti�sto released In Search Of Sunrise 2. After the release of his artist album In My Memory, and his extensive travels and tours around the world, he has selected his best tour records, and has added some of the most beautiful gems in electronic music today.
Included is Ti�sto's warm remix from Paul Oakenfold's Southern Sun, and the future hitsingle Summer Calling by Andain, Josh Gabriels new band. Other favourites are DJ Hooligan "Hear You Now", Starecase "Faith" and the classic Nalin & Kane "Open Your Eyes". Of course the mixing is flawless, and that summer vibe is back again. Bring it on!

It's not an live CD! He just mixed it in an studio in panama. And that picture is also taken in panama.
Just like isos 1 was recorded in ibiza, and isos 2 in
Sydney.

Why does he/other dj's have to travel so far to record ? Is it because there are MEGA studios in places like Panama, Sydney etc... ?
I'd like to ask everyone who's so enthousiastic about this (promo) cd how they feel about the beatmatching/mixing...

I can't say anything bad about ISOS3 (promo)...
the tracks are exactly what the cd says:
"his best tour records, and some of the most beautiful gems in electronic music today"
For people who wanted the newest tracks that haven't even been played yet in livesets, sorry guys that was not what I expected and not what Tiesto was trying to do with this album...
Also, it is strange to me that other people expected bangin, and or super uplifting trance from ISOS! I mean please!! ISOS is chill, smooth, slow... i can't imagine being a trance fan and not knowing about the ISOS series, i mean for me, ISOS 2 helped define trance music at the time...
Anyway ISOS3 (promo) delivered exactly what i expected, which is some of the best tracks trance has to offer...
At the moment, i feel ISOS2 might have been more groundbreaking than ISOS3 (promo), but i can't say that ISOS3 (promo) isn't a great great cd...

Everyone keeps saying that its a promo. Does this mean that there will be a different mix of it on the cd? Im going to buy the CD anyway, all ISOS hold a special place for me. 1 and 2 were fanfuckintastic and this one is shaping up to be. Im around 8 min in, and yeah that Hear you Now needed to be played more.
promo basically is an advanced copy...not retail..
so the list might change
but i doubt it will, and if it does, it won't change drastically

After listening to it a few more times, I also think the mixing, well fade, between Strings Ultd and Southern sun is a bit basic. It doesnt throw off the mix but, I just expected better.
Strike to burn the cd using a cue sheet, download cdrwin and load the cuesheet, then burn, you may have to change the file name in the .cue to match whats on your hard drive. Its not too hard.
Another question, was this released on the black hole label or another? Because i was listening to isos1 last night and noticed it was released on the songbird label. But that could have been because Blackhole wasnt around yet, since it was released in 99.

oh sure I love the intro + first 4 tracks (hear you now. starecase, summercalling, solarcoaster) and the way they are mixed, creats a great flow in the set, but after that I'm not sure.... the mixing is off at times, the tracks are still great (mindcircus!), but the "flow" isn't (IMHO) as good as it could have been.

i prefer tiesto's live work to this cd, the cd is more suited for the home listener. which makes it serve its purpose i suppose
