Good news guys.

I have a copy of the PvD special that was on Foxtel. Give me a couple of weeks and I will rip it to Mpeg for all to download.

Do you want me to include his interviews as well? Or just the footage @Home?

What was the first song PVD played in the video? In the first clip of him live what was that song. That really bangin mad song! I loved that! PLEASE WHAT WAS IT!

Ok a quick update on the ripping of PVD @Home.

I will post a sample of the tracks that were played in the special that were used for the live bits a little later on.

This way I can insert Mp3 quality audio over the ripped video, as this will be much much better quality than the VCR audio, which you will agree is crap after you hear the samples.

I do believe they are both PVD tracks, but not being a huge PVD fan until after seeing him @home, I will need some help identifying them.

Also, the second live clip, appears to have a second track mixed into it half way thru. This being the case, I wont be able to dub Mp3 quality audio onto the video rip.

It may not be 2 tracks mixed, one of you huge pvd fans will be able to tell me if it is.

If it is 2 tracks mixed, maybe one of you budding DJs out there could recreate the mix to mp3 so i can put it over the audio.

Righto. Here are the 2 sample audio tracks.

For the sake of trying to save a bit of bandwidth, they have been encoded in a less than desirable mp3 bitrate. However the quality is good enough for one of you PVD mega fans to recognise these tracks

The first one 30 seconds long 250K big HERE

The second (with the MAYBE 2nd track mixed in ?!?) 2 mins long and 950 K big HERE

You should note the new track come in about the 15-20 second mark on the sample mp3.

Could you please post the names of the tracks, and if possible the mix (if applicable). Also, if the second track IS mixed (which I think it is), is anyone able to reproduce the mixing ?

Well.. if you run the video file @ full screen you wouldnt notice much diff if the original was 320 * 480 or 640 * 320

Okies. One of the parts has been encoded, ready to go. I have contacted Swamper to see if he will host thevideo. I will get around to doing the other part sometime this week
