nope, still missed it you must have eagle ears!!

if you want to know the sneaky clue feel free to PM me, but i hate to ruin things for people. indeed, some close friends i introduced to BSG get so angry when i wont tell them what's going on!

i can try and point you in the right direction if you need. it just jumped out at me second time watching...

Posted by MeLLyMeL on May-07-2009 14:05:

you know the nerdy guy in the beginning when he is comparing the brain of the adult and young girls brain scan?

He said something like he is fraking good. Right in the beginning!

Definitely point me in the direction because otherwise I will be like "blue shirt, blue shirt. what does this ALL mean?!" (everything i see - i will try to breakdown)

Yes. Im pretty sure he was talking to the doctor. Alpha also asks the doctor whether she wanted to be a doctor her whole life, and calls her a liar when she says yes.

therefore...

dont forget the 2 episodes being released on the DVD.

quote:

Last week the Dollhouse fandom was thrown into a tizzy when actress Felicia Day alerted fans via Twitter that her episode -- the now infamous ep 13/14 -- would not be airing on television.

Despite FOXs fairly believable explanation of why the episode won't make it to your TV set, and their reassurance that they had not made any final decisions on the future of Dollhouse, fans couldn't help but predict that the end was near.

However, at the Paley Festival, where Dollhouse was honored last night, Joss Whedon revealed that second-season hope is actually still very much alive. To be clear, there has been no official pick up, but Joss is optimistic that the network -- filled with execs who love the show, he says -- will be looking at the full picture, including iTunes purchases, DVR playback, hulu streaming, etc., and he reassured fans that the people who canned his previous FOX TV endeavor Firefly are not a part of the team that will decide if Dollhouse returns.

God blessed me with a little one-on-one time with Mr. Whedon who also told me FOX may even end up airing bonus ep 13/14 before the first season DVD drops after all. Ive been in contact with the network and the studio making a great big push for them to [air that last hour], Joss said. The problem isnt just with the network though, the studio also looks at it and goes, DVD goodness! So, [my goal] is getting them both excited about putting it on the air. Theyre looking in to it, I havent gotten an answer yet, but I know that they are honestly discussing it, the same way they are obviously discussing a second season. They have to weigh in all the factors. I know Im being dealt with in a reasonable fashion, so whatever the outcome, Ill know I pushed as hard as I could and they did what they could. I have hope [itll work out].

lets hope for the best!

As much of a Whedon fan boy that I am I wouldn't be to upset if Dollhouse got canceled. The only episodes I genuinely liked were 6, 8, 10, and the first half of 11. I thought the season finale ending was not well planned out and very contrived. "Alpha runs away, for some reason, and throws the wedge that lands on a beam. The wedge falls but Paul catches it."

There is some room for some good story telling in the show and possibly in season 2 but Echo is an extremely unlikeable character because Eliza just can't act that well and pull off multiple characters. Alan Tudyk was amazing as Alpha though and really picked the entire show up. Victor and Sierra also pull off their roles very well. Amy Acker as Dr. Saunders can be utilized so much better as an actress and character on the show than what she was. It's just my opinion that the biggest weakness of the show is the main character.

haha I like her character..

I like all the characters. Glad Milly is out.

The whole thing is a cool idea.. I hope that season 2 goes deeper. I also think she could have gotten the wedge back in a different manner.

Was a bit tacky.

i agree with your comments about dushku, but i still really liked each episode more than the previous, and im sure the last episode is teeing up a much bigger role for amy acker in the next season (should there be one.)

All in all I think the first season of dollhouse has been better than the first season of buffy (the missing humour aside).
