Whew... all I have to say is Jaytech needs to play here more often. When Wai told me he was an awesome opener, i had no idea how good his skills were. I wouldn't compare it to the usual proggy opener. Jaytech banged it out pretty hard. The majority of his set is a mystery to me. All I remember hearing are his original productions/remixes: Metro and Groove Nova and maybe Sunrise. Also a lot of Mashtronic-sounding tracks which need to be dropped in NYC more often!
As for A&B... I was glad I heard most of the songs that I haven't heard live in a long time or ever (Alone Tonight, Good For Me, Can't Sleep), but the structure of the set was just OFF. As expected and feared, they played a lot of the Anjunadeep sound, which personally, i thought had little room after Jaytech's mind blowing opening set. I felt like they threw in 3 original productions/remixes, then one new track and kept applying the same formula to their set. Compared to their last NYC apperance, which I missed out on, I'm kicking myself that I didn't see A&B in reverse order. I still have high hopes for BeB15 though.
I'll post my TL in a bit. Still trying to eat some breakfast/O.D on some starbucks iced chai! Wai, where you at? :P

If you do, in fact, have your own drinks, I am SURE it is not hard to stay at your own table (or are you not wanted there, either??)....... Do not come over where you are certainly NOT wanted, nor will EVER BE. Really classless and if she ever reads this, next time I will NOT be so polite. |

o m g...what a night!!
Firstly I want to say how freaking awesome it was to get to hang out with EVERYONE!!! i finally got to meet some people Ive been waiting FOREVER to see! Everyone was in the best of moods and Ill always remember jumping around with all of your asses at the end of the set to Satellite. Priceless!!!!!
I do have to say- I was away from a computer from Thur on so I didnt see this Markus info. When Mike told me I had a really hard time A) believing him and B) not jumping around screaming like a little girl.
Then......markus got there. I could never in my wildest dreams have even MADE UP a fantasy like this. Get to hang out with all the best trance lovers- listening to Above & Beyond and hanging out with GOD! wow.
Jaytech was insane...I really had no idea what i was getting myself into here....I need more!!!!
I really loved A&Bs set...I always do. I definitely enjoyed the MUSIC more last year...but this year the entire night, the people everything just made it perfection. I really liked the set- i think it was really great- i loved the last hour....HEAVEN!!!
thanks to EVERYONE who made this night so great- Scotty is a HUGE A&B fan and came up from WV to see the show- hes only been to a handful of trance events....and you guys all really made him so jealous that he doesnt live in CT anymore!!

jaytech was doing some sick mashups too.
some other tracks i heard during the night:
dinka - civilization
daniel portman - elder
komytea - afghanistan
signalrunners - meet me in montauk
Cristian Paduraru - Emotion Comes From Motion (Alex Guerrero Electro Mix)
shame they didnt play the new Paul Keeleys; was waiting to hear Trans Am and Life Aquatic.
Tom as always great pics, except for the one of me looking strange as usual. People don't understand I'm just not photogenic. Where are the rest, though?
And Sam dude, I was there since 11 so, I dunno where your crazy ass was!
solarity - terminal 6
