i agree. That would never work here.... The flights alone are way too expensive for anyone outside of North America, and ya... why would they pay all that money to see those big name trance DJs in Canada, when they can see them for next to nothing, at any given time, only a short, cheap flight away. Or in their own city for that matter! I remember being in Ireland and seeing signs everywhere for a huge international dj playing in Belfast every single night of the week. They have no shortage of events to attend over there.... no reason to come here!

Of course when you relate it to the size of a population the number will be small, but the point it that people DO fly from other countries from around the world for 1 single party. last year on my flight alone I met 6 people going from the Buffalo area alone. When I arrives, I was hanging out with about 20-30 people from N. America... and that's just the one's I met... I could only imagine how many others were there.

number of people that have come here to party from europe < number of people that go to europe to party

seriously....are we debating this?

Too far fetched i gotta say..

It'd be cool if TA, however, had a booth or even one day a stage at some of these festivals in Europe

Who's debating? That's the point of starting this thread dude. To see what other people think. I don't think anyone is debating the issue you raise. I'm simply saying that people travel worldwide for parties all the time, and it's not so far fetched that people would come to N. America for the same reason.
