I used to work at engineering place and these guys would work on very complex CADs for hours... what I would do is send them Error message over the network of this kind: "General memory fault. Computer will restart" and a timer of about 8 seconds with no cancel button... these guys would fucking scream death and scramble to save their work which usually takes a few minutes to do because of the CAD size... I would be sitting at my office counting the seconds and then send the proper command to cancel everything at the last instant...

sometimes they would get up to go pee, and I would launch the same thing, they would sit back and I would cancel it, over and over... or better tell someone to check the error out and I would cancel it when they come close to the computer

The best one also is to send a message of this kind "Porno is not permitted at XYZ inc. The HR dept. has been advised." These guys would turn white even, and just calmly shut down everything and not telling anyone fearing of what others might say... even though they didn't do anything.

it was too hard to keep a straight face.

Just the usual. Removing screws from chairs. The desktop trick (where you take a pic of the desktop and make it the background, the person clicks on their shortcuts and gets frustrated they dont work). Before we upgraded to optical mice I used to remove the mouse balls from the mouse. Ketchup packets on your seat, gluing the phone to the base, disconnecting all computer cables when someone steps away to the bathroom, food coloring in the milk, answering other peoples phones making the caller think they have the wrong #. All pretty standard

If your workplaces have speakers, while one of your coworkers is on a break, install a sound which can be heard at either an error message, or when shutting down, etcetera. Such sounds can vary, one could be the sound of bestiality porn (German spoken FTW!)
