I can't believe the guy does 10+ hour sets @ 48 years old, unbelievable, he's the fucking rolling stones lol

lol, really? 48 isn't the end of the world....a lot of execs travel the world way more and work longer hours than DT does spinning records.
Great pic though.

you're right, I'm not really being fair, for some reason anything over 45 to me might as well be 60...

BUT at the same time, you're execs working long hours analogy is pretty far from say Danny T playing for 10 straight hours closing Space Ibiza... come on, that's a whole other ball game of stamina!

i think within the context of stress level, Skipper's analogy undermines DT's actions. the execs are making multi-billion dollar decisions while DT is playing music to a party. both are important in their own way but i think the consequences are greater and to more people (i.e. shareholders/employees) with the former.

I remember being in the main room at Guv around 8am on the 2007 Labor of Love when Tenaglia was playing. He walked up from the side of the stage to the DJ booth carrying this big tub of water to soak his feet in. I was like WTF? I knew he took anti anti-iflamatories but thats just funny.

Dude was soaking his feet while spinning within the final hour of his set. Pure jokes!

I dunno, that's 10 hours of FUN work...most execs might dig their job but I doubt any of them would say they have as much fun as Danny does when he plays.

lol YES YES... but I'm specifically thinking about the physical strain on your body that 10 hours of DJ'ing could do... my dad is like 52 and there is no way he could even stand for 2 hours straight (hah)

it's fun for you and I but most 48 year olds would probably think what Danny T does is the equivalent of working in a coal mine lol

I think most world travelling execs would equate it to playing a few rounds of golf. Physically exerting, sure, but you love it. The reason why execs are execs is because they can't make on the PGA tour.

I am with you on this... I think of the stamina I have lost over the last 3 years and can't imagine what I will feel like in 15-20 years.

Most of the big heavy weights are over 40 - Digweed, Carl (in the 46 range), even Tiesto is 40.
