Jay Kay is the only person who looks like he bathes in patchouli who can project sex appeal. I think it's the dancing.

the kind of 'intelligence' which a standardized test measures and the kind of 'intelligence' (in its most basic sense of understanding as the word literally implies) which is associated with music and other things that stir the spirit are not nearly the same thing.

ICP must be completely below the detectable threshold.

Posted by Noisician on Mar-05-2009 22:45:

my sat score would be somewhere in the negatives then.

For spirituality, New-Age enthusiasts get the highest scores whereas black metal fans score high on Lavey's SAT-M (SAtanist Test for Music)

new agers tend to be just as close-minded in spiritual matters as fundamentalist christians. as long as there is a label or a doctrine there is no intelligence

What? You say that all those energy crystals, pygmies, pipes of all sorts, dolphin-sex and gregorian-chants are not spiritual enough!?

piping, chanting, crystals are all cool with me. it's all about ones outlook.

i've got turkish pipes, irish pipes, english pipes, and pan pipes. i'd really like to have a bansuri. the pipe is the first digitalization of the human voice, in the most literal sense.

i have records like this: http://www.discogs.com/Gy%C3%BCt%C3...release/837762,

i used to collect crystals when i was young

now i've got books like this: http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/imag...d9edbe010.L.jpg

once i found a book that prescribed ground asphalt for depression lol. there was a chart in the back which prescribed various crystals and rocks for all sorts of maladies

i never got into dolphin sex or pygmies, though i dated a girl who was 5'2" (i am 6'5")

1.58 cm is less than an inch tall. Did you mean 1.58 meters?

sig worthy. I am also puzzled as to how they came about fitting techno in one little thing, not to mention that house, breaks, dnb, dubstep and so on didn't even make it up there.

Most people in the U.S. call practically anything with a big four to the floor kick drum or a prominent synth "techno," unless there's a rapper in it.

True, but are people really that oblivious to the more "underground" EDM most of us listen to?
