I pretty much like the chill edge to this tune. Very curious about the Telefon Tel Aviv Remix!

I think this sounds quite a lot more like a new POB-track, so this has to be a new Union Jack-release, not Art Of Trance. It has the signature dub-ish feel that POB got famous for with Boiler and Waah.

Normally, I wouldn't advocate going back to a sound that has already been thoroughly pioneered, but god knows trance could learn something from it now, so this tune gets my support.

The track is on the myspace of AoT and it was also listed as an AoT track on the Platipus newsletter. I think the melody does sound a lot like AoT, but I also hear the POB sound you're referring too. Maybe Simon got influenced by POB now that they work together as Union Jack?

For all we know, Brogden could have ended up collaborating with Berry on this track behind the scenes.

Who cares about who influenced who, they're both awesome

I want release dates.

Massive tunage there.

Always a fan of a song that will sound better live/on a huge system than in your bedroom. This is going to be one of those songs.

I absolutely love this tune, along with Papillon. I want them

So you guys like this Art of Shranz track. Perfect. Maybe just maybe...a label will pick up a track of mine that has a few similar veins. Which I produced in Oct 08 and is sitting in my bom.b stockpile. Its a bit more futuristic, techy, and has moody undertones. Something James Zabiela might fuck with, called 'Polygons Need Love/Morphing'. But this track is nice, love the tribal touch.

By the way love the name and video. "Swarm"

There are several labels searching for talent, why dont you try and post a preview on the anjunabeats forum?

Yah, at the moment It's not a track im looking to do anything with, it is something that i'd develop another project for, it doesn't work in deep house/tech house/techno project I've mainly been focusing on at the moment. Perhaps, in a year or so i'll furthur develop my good ole progressive house (zomg prog is dead) project. Or I'll give it to someone as a ghost production, and let them enjoy some success through it. Of course he or she will have to rename the track, since i've already shared what its called if I were to ever release it ; )

Nope, just happy there might be interest in it, based on the reactions to this Art of Trance's "Swarm." For now, its just a good time I had last October, it did its job of life enrichment already ; )

Saw this in my mailbox, too.

It's good to see that Platipus is still alive and kicking, really.

By the way, for those interested in whether or not Papillion was getting released, they confirmed that it will in the same newsletter- no specific date announced as of yet.

Posted by RebeL9 on Apr-18-2009 07:26:

AWESOME. Definetly getting that 3CD album!

By the way. Here's Papillion:

^Holy epic acid trance, batman. That's the best one yet; a literal trip and is making me fall in love with (real) trance all over again.
