well the genre exists, but wether it is universally known as casiocore is questionable, ishkur seems like to to invent names for styles.

so scrap that, and ill go with .. darkcore [dark gabba]

I think if this one goes well, we should try another, more "extreme" version. (Allow crazier genres... rock, hip-hop, country... nazi polkacore).

For:

- The Lulz
- Might actually learn something

Now now, let's not get ahead of ourselves

everything has been pretty respectable so far apart from Gabber. Does anyone like it?

Yeah, he does.

Posted by ZeJayMan on Mar-07-2009 00:14:

He's not said he does like it, he may just be saying it because it's a genre that hasn't been brought up yet.

If he likes it, fair enough. I'll mix it if I get chosen to mix it, but if he doesn't really like it, then maybe pick a more agreeable genre?

Posted by Lomeli on Mar-07-2009 00:19:

Video Game House.

There's already Dub Techno. Is there a significant difference?

We already have Progressive Breaks. Again, is there a significant difference?

That's for [N]k|[Z] to choose. I'll accept Gabber for now.

If I get it I'm putting 'Fuck Me Right' on that bitch!

But seriously, I don't see how anyone would download a gabber mix except for the lulz. It's fucking murder to the ears.

Posted by Adam420 on Mar-07-2009 01:23:

Yea no stupidities. None of us want to get stuck having to mix that.

Posted by kr00t0n on Mar-07-2009 02:01:

I'm game!

Progressive psy?

Posted by WhooCares on Mar-07-2009 02:09:

Or how about a PHAT BASS mix? lol

But either dubstep, breakbeat, or hardstyle, I would assume.

Detroit Techno, perhaps?

Elektro-Tech Trance

Posted by enydo on Mar-07-2009 03:29:

I actually hope I get epic / uplifting trance.

Posted by Adam420 on Mar-07-2009 03:39:

I just realized that genre list is way too specific. There's no way I can cough up an acid-trance track list and neither can most of you. I think it should be narrowed down to more basic genres.

Posted by woscar on Mar-07-2009 03:51:

Actually, I think it's OK with the exception of that damn gabber.

Nu-Disco/Funky House (Or is this too specific?)
