you are a worthless piece of shit.

You know what would be freakin AWESOME?
Anyone here who used to have a NES back in the days maybe remember an accessory called U-Force. It was flat and had infrared sensors which translated the hands movements into the controller movements.
If anyone could somehow program this to some dj equipment it would be ace.

Here's a video of it in action:

massively gay, and he does look like a bit of a tool standing up on stage with 2 wiimotes.. but shake your elitism off for a sec guys.. it did sound good

If it did it wouldn't be that big of a deal. You can't just go around playing bad music badly, it doesn't work that way.

Actually, as evidenced by the "rocking crowd" who are surely having the time of their lives by stevesto's estimate, you can.

In fact, I think people playing bad music badly outnumber skilled DJs with good taste 100 to 1, possibly much higher...

not at all impressive. i once saw crazy ivan or some guy from glacier use a wii-mote to spin the most god awful set i've ever heard live.

weird. i always thought of myself to have a good taste in music [no gabba jokes plz] i honestly thought that sounded good.. especially right after his first wiimote ******ies when it first kicked in.

as for the crowd,.. they were hardly moving fuck all.. i guess they were all waiting for the oxfam truck to drop of the latest batch of 3rd-hand adidas t-shirts

Posted by bas on Mar-09-2009 23:10:

I guess it's not "bad"...but, imo, it's pretty boring as far as new music goes. Plus that conga stab is annoying, why are people still doing that?

Posted by chrisday on Mar-09-2009 23:11:

Surely this guy can't be took seriously...

I remember when Van Dyk went through a phase of playing Binary finary on a keyboard...

ah well to be honest.. ive not focussed on music like this for a few years now.. so i guess i missed this 'congo stab' thing. but i think i can honestly say that if i wasnt watchin the video.. but just listening to this, id think it was quite "rockin" or whatever you young people say these days

Damn, you're ignorant...since when does a DJ have to put on such an incredible display of wankery and egotism to "rock the crowd"?

Posted by MrJiveBoJingles on Mar-10-2009 01:06:

IMO Bas could totally rock a crowd even without Beamz or Wii controllers.

It is funny that you mention this. When I looked at the video earlier today, I envisioned a scenario involving him getting shot in the face by an enraged TA member.

Cox should've used a wiimote.

I watched Wizard again not too long ago and realized something.

Not only did I realize that she was the lead singer of Rilo Kiley was in the Wizard but I realized that Blake Sennett was in Boy Meets World.

If it wasn't for the Savages (Fred and Ben respectively) we wouldn't have Rilo Kiley.

What an amazing world we live in.

Posted by Mr Game+Watch on Mar-10-2009 14:00:

Yup, I will associate Jenny Lewis with "HE TOUCHED MY BREAST!" even before her work with Rilo Kiley

That movie was terrible but it was such a childhood fave of mine. And to get this *SLIGHTLY* back on topic... I always thought it would be cool if Nintendo revealed the Wii and its motion control functionality with a movie called "The WIIzard", kind of like they revealed SMB3 back in the day.

Nice mullet

LOL, I used to love The Wizard when I was in kindergarten / early elementary. I feel sorry for kids who will never get to experience the cheesy glory that was the '80s.
