It's an American article. And in America they only have one McChicken, which is on their dollar menu. That is why the article states that you simple put a "whole McChicken" into a double cheeseburger, and not a Jr. McChicken.
OUR "McChicken" is different from the American version, it's bigger and tastes different (less of a spice-kick to it). The American version, and our Jr. McChicken, taste exactly the same.
thanks for the info, Grimace!

I'm surprised this family fast food chain is allowed to put a "McGangBang" on the menu.

It's actually not on the menu (imagine how much trouble they would get in), it's an off-menu term that most McDonald's employees would know. Posted by *~LiSa-LoO~* on Mar-16-2009 22:42:

But then technically couldn't anything be an "off the menu" item? Could I ask them to put french fries on my big extra, and then have a big mac put around it? I guess I'm not following....the "McGangBang" is basically just a piece of chicken with a double cheeseburger around it...so couldn't I just order that and not have to order a "GangBang" and the employees would still know how to make it, especially if I say "I want a McChicken inside a double cheeseburger"

So why couldn't you just order a Mcchicken and double cheeseburger and do that yourself? Hell, do that with ANYTHING on the menu. That's what I'm not getting....what the big deal about this "secret menu" thing that only SOME employees know how to make? You're just taking 2 things off the menu and sticking them together, like the fat customer can't just do that themselves. If they're just trying to copy off of In and Out's "Secret menu" they failed big time.

so you're basically paying for 2 sandwiches but getting less than that cuz you don't get the buns and everythign else.
if i wanted that, i'd just do it myself, like lisa suggested.

i dunno if a mcdicks staging employee assembled the sandwich in the pic in the original post then it does have two buns. but when it comes to something so simple to put together, id rather buy the sandwiches separately and assemble it on my own.

The pic on page 1 shows the sandwich assembled with both buns.
I also highly doubt that a typical McDicks employee in Canada (and I have my doubts about any typical employee in the States as well) would know what the eff you were talking about if you asked for a "McGangBang". In fact, I'm pretty sure they'd tell you they can't make it even if you described it to them.

I ate it all.
The 12 apple pies really is the kicker.
In my last year of university I was (attempting to) bulk up with a friend, and they had just started the McDeal so it was super cheap. We had contests to see who could eat the most. One day (Thursday) I finished off 11 cheeseburgers, and another day (Sunday) it was, I believe, 6 quarter pounders (I couldn't finish the last one).
So kind of close to that, minus the apple pies. Add 12 apple pies and that's all kinds of crazy. You must have been shitting for hours.
Nowadays I'm gone after a big mac and two quarter pounders, maybe three. Looking back, it's just unbelievably disgusting. The best (worst) part was that it didn't even help me put on any weight, although I'm sure it did help raise cholesterol a fair bit.

ok, I get your point.... on that note... I was at the Wendy's on Cliffton Hill in Niagara Falls this weekend, and ordered a large fry, large chilli, sour cream and hot sauce. I used my date's salad cover as a tray, and made a helluva good chilli and sour cream fries ever. It was the sh!t.
