I really enjoyed the set, did start a little on the downlow, but when he picked it up he picked it up good. I too wish he brought his darker sound out but I think he was just playing to the club / crowd to be honest... crowd sucked, too many drunk / etarded idiots trying to fingerbang chicks on the dancefloor.

whoa... what a night. Seeing John Digweed was awesome! It has certainly put me in a reflective mood today. I feel like his set went by so fast that it seems dreamlike.

I thought there were a few points during his set where the energy waned ever so slightly, but man, towards the end he was relentless. I loved it! That dude was laying down some sick beats.

Opera seemed OK. First time for me being there. I didn't pay too much attention to the crowd, but I know it did get a little "pushy" on the dance floor a few times. I wasn't really into that. Ummm... I will say, I asked a few random people who I thought might be TA's if in fact they were, and I got plenty of confused (WTF???) looks! That made me laugh.

Anyways, I'd love to try and catch up with y'all at a future event. Last night will be one that won't be forgotten anytime soon for me.

Yeah, I wish he could've gotten to play longer. Diggers' long sets are so much better!

We never get long sets in Atlanta.

That's how it usually goes down. We need some more long sets. I mean, for me, 3 hours is a pretty good length for some people, but there are some people who I would enjoy for more.

Most of the time I actually don't want to be out until 5am/6am really...unless I'm doing a little something, something.

But man, I think 4 hours is the perfect length. Especially for DJs like Sasha and Digweed and Carl Cox and Markus Schulz who get really funky after a couple of hours. If they're only on for 2 and a half or 3 hours, they can't really get funky. That extra hour/hour n' half really makes a difference.

Markus likes to start it off slow and progressive, build it up, throw in some tech bass driven trance, then take you down into what's come to be known as the "rabbit hole." I fucking love the "rabbit hole." I want to go there damnit. Then he slowly pulls you out of that "rabbit hole" with some sweet remixes of classics.

Sasha and Digweed do the same in a sense. Carl Cox just gets pure funkity funk funk funky.
