I agree the Tabby is a nice venue and will be a nice change of scenery. I saw the crystal method a few times in miami and was not really that impressed. I have never seen an quality dj set so I am hoping to leave the Tabby with a new found respect for them.
hopefully this won't be sold out by the time i can afford it. benassi and crystal method in one night, i'd love to be there

3 weeks out and ticket sales are massive, expect a sold out show at the tabernacle!
www.wantickets.com is almost sold out of the tickets they have been given for this show, once they sell out the only outlet to get tickets will be www.livenation.com and they have a lot higher service charge then wantickets so it is STRONGLY suggested to get these tickets ASAP!
had to cancel my plans to make it to this one!
upsetting to say the least. i was really looking forward to the crystal method, and the venue, plus the regional talent that was going to be there.

Liquified will transform the Tabernacle with sights and sounds beyond your imagination. Benny Benassi was born in Milan in 1967 and then grew up in the provincial town of Reggio Emilia, Italy. He started dj-ing when he ws still at school and has been producing with his cousin Alle Benassi for about ten years at Off Limits studios. His first as a producer was with the track "I feel so fine" by KMC feat. Dhany which went to n�1 in the UK club charts in 2001. The following year, working under the BENNY BENASSI presents THE BIZ trademark, Benny and Alle came up with "Satisfaction" and in one fell swoop ravaged the dancefloors and dominated sales charts round the world. The album �Hypnotica" followed. In the meantime Benny and Alle produced more melodic dance music under the Benassi Bros. banner. The charts of half the planet gave them thumbs up. The Benassis have also remixed artists such as Outkast, David Guetta, Moby, Goldfrapp, Paul Oakenfold, Faithless and Public Enemy, to name but a few. Benny has won tons of prizes and awards around the world and continues to tour the five continents with his unique style, once described as "electro, sort of house-tec, dirty and cool, sweaty and smooth". In 2008 Benny and Alle won a Grammy Award for his remix of Public Enemy�s �Bring the noise�.

As The Crystal Method, Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland have been fixtures on the electronic music scene for more than 10 years. Over the course of three studio albums and two mix records, including the ground-breaking debut Vegas, the band has cemented its reputation through successful collaborations with rock heavyweights and years of touring, both as a live act and as DJs. Grammy nominated for 2004�s Legion of Boom, the duo currently host �Community Service� on LA�s Indie 103.1 FM, and have recently finished scoring both their first feature film, London, as well as the theme to Fox�s series Bones. The Crystal Method recently celebrated the 10-year anniversary (and platinum certification) of their momentous debut album Vegas with the release of Vegas (Deluxe Edition). This double CD set features re-mastered original release, rare and live recordings, and remixes by Paul Oakenfold, MSTRKRFT, Hyper and more. The band is currently hard at work on their fourth studio album to be released in 2009.

thank you liquified & atlanta! had an amazing time both listening and playing, party rocked!
The party was off the chain!! The level of production in the Main Room was nothing short of spectacular. The Crystal Method absolutely destroyed the place. They played a good mix of classic CM tracks as well as some new ones. I never saw any of Benny Benassi as I stayed downstairs most of the night. Everyone in the Cotton Club ripped it bigtime. Funny thing is I actually thought Room 2 had more bass than the main room. Thanks to Liquified for having me out again and thanks to all who came downstairs to chill with me while I played. Looking forward to the rest of the shows this year as this party clinched the fact that Atlanta is back and going full tilt again. Now onto The Bday bashments and Sasha and Diggers!!!!!
