Yea they literally yanked the plug @ the Lights Out party @ nocturnal.
4am rolled around. Security/Cops rolled in and yanked the plug in the middle of the set. Lawler got on the mic and bitched about the police, it was pretty funny. I wonder what the JP crowd did? |
JP party never happened. I can only imagine all of the frustrated guidos who didn't know who else to see besides NYC DJs.

How come people always try to ruin the fun...? |
For the Nocturnal issue.. I completely blame the club.
There should not have been any cash sales day of until most of the ticket holders were accounted for.. I am sure there would have been plenty of people still trying to get into Circo Loco at 8am.
There were 3 major fire code violations... they had a make shift DJ booth, A tarp that blocked all of the sprinklers on one of the floors and they were over capacity.
We were the last 2 let in for the terrace... it was a shit show for an hour. They were looking for any reason possible to kick people out.
First, they should have found a way bigger location of Circo Loco.
Second, Nocturnal has been in business long enough to know what they are doing.. why fuck with the fire code on your busiest week of the year.
We ended up on the hunt for the Circo party based on rumors that they found a new location.. it was all false hope but we managed to enjoy ourselves at Sunday School.
Also, if you were at one of those parties at Nocturnal - I suggest emailing [email protected] for a refund. They processed ours without any question. They of course keep the service charge... but that was expected.

Pretty annoyed about the Circo Loco issues at Nocturnal, especially because all of those problems were preventable. That was the party I was looking forward to the most. Oh well, hopefully next year they will book it somewhere bigger and get it right.
