Accelerate @ The Works went till like 6am or so last year, and was one of the best parties of DEMF '08. Took the day off, had my flight at like 3pm. It was great.

at least i wasn't the most disheveled-looking person at the Amtrak station... so i guess it wasn't as bad as flying home from Miami surrounded by a bunch of old people and families complaining about a "techno festival" and "non-stop debauchery" (oops, sorry we ruined your spring break vacation)

Agreed.. When the party is over there is no reason to be in Detroit.. I have off the rest of the week.. I just want to come back to civilazation, sleep and relax...

unfortunately have to work Tuesday, leaving Monday around 7 and back to Newark back to BK

Hey buddy, unless your spinning at DEMF you should stop trying to play Mr. Expert on every thread. First, I actually have a ride to the airport via car. Second, I don't need a bag because it's Detroit - not all of us need their hair gel and makeup.

Your last sentence justifies my whole argument. "Nothing has popped up yet"....and if something does, I'll be there 100%. My entire goal at this festival is to stay as long as possible while there is still techno shredding the GM HQ and then jet the hell out back to the place where the music really never stops...NYC.

I wasn't trying to insult anyone so don't take it the wrong way. DEMF is going to be ridiculous whether your there for 2 hours or 2 months.

No way man, I agree with you. You definitely need to take the day after any kind of party weekend/festival off to travel. Leaving that early in the morning is just a painful experience. I did it once during WMC, left early Monday...biggest mistake ever. I missed a shit ton of awesome parties Sunday night/Monday afternoon and had pretty much the worst time at the airport dealing with Puerto Ricans.

I get in Saturday afternoon leave Tuesday afternoon via teleportation.

...and I still won't miss any parties unless afterhours goes until 10AM Tuesday mourning (quite possible) but even then I only miss a couple tracks, close enough for me.
