Got in around 11:15pm, only waited in line for 10 min! Nice and quick this time around.
Got in to an empty guv mainroom and Tocadisco up on the decks with his GF (shes a cutie
) just sucking back drinks all night long lol. I was really surprised to hear how clear/crisp the guv mainroom sound system was! It has definately been perfected the past few times I've been to guv and this is a huge bonus in my books!
Tocadisco played a very pumping/energetic set!!! Very impressed with him, I've never seen guv buzzing that much around 12:30am, the whole room was just moving and lively, you could so tell everyone was eating up his tracks!!
Kaskade came on after and killed the flow...cheesy deadmau5 sounding shit. Had a few good tracks here and there but definately should've gone before Tocadisco....
Sharam...had quite the interesting opening to say the least lol. That cowboy/wild west theme intro was fucking LAME. He wasn't consistent at all however had a few good tracks in the middle of his set that had main room by the balls!
Angello came on after was I was quite surprised with his set, played quite a few tribal influenced house tracks, perfect for mainroom sound around 4:30am...
Only spent like 4 min in KH but it was fucking crazy in there, never seen anything like that in my life couldn't handle it lol. WILD to say the least, like a demented circus or somethin...
overall it was a decent night, really enjoyed tocadisco and cant wait for him to come back!
carlo lio in the orange room trumps all sets last night..
anybody know those curly haired girls by the booth.. damn didn't get a name.. lol
so glad I didnt go to this junk

The reviews from the Kool Haus intrigue me. I kind of wish I was there for that.
Hopefully they'll have a similar event sometime soon.
I just woke up and feel like I was put in a burlap sack, then rolled down a very very long hill.
Sharams set wasn't thaaat bad guys... Good music, but it did get a little boring. He played the tech-huse sound you'd expect from him, but there was no variance, peeks and valleys in his set thus making it pretty uninteresting after a few songs.
coles notes: Sharams set = boob sweat. lol
Angello and Sharam looked like they went to the same stylist before the show too lol.
Reminded me of the time Hernan Cattano & Digweed had the same hair cut and the exact same shirt on too.
some text msges from the night:
11:48
"perry ferre lbrought his fucking band!! I thought he was doing a dj set! Soooo fucking cool at a Guv party"
11:50
"No drummer though. drum machine and bass launched from a laptop. live guitar and 2 vocalists. dope dope dope"
12:15
"perrys finished. Beetroots are on and someone crowd surfing just fell on my head. hahaha!"
12:24 in Kool Haus
"some kid just ran and stage dove. Missed me by 6 inches and hit John lol"
12:40 from Guv
"kaskade is playing some nice fluffy house in Guv"
1:18am from the drink
"music in here is kinda gay. Goto Kool Haus? I need to straighten myself out."
2:10am KH
"mmuuuhahahahhaha!!!! such an awesome party"
2:24 KH
"mstrkrft just closed with bohimien rhapsody! unreal!"
3:51 guv
"dope! Annnnnngellloooooo!!!!!"
5:11 somewhere in the complex
"Wow! best Guv night in years!"
ohh...there were a few guys rolling around with video camera.
Anyone know what company they were from and where those videos are going? Saw them in Guv & Kool haus mostly.

Spent most of my night in the Orange Room, heard Joee Cons who was great as usual, and the Junkies after. The Junkies play solid tracks but they tend to sound the same after awhile. Joee had more variety. I checked in on Kaskade but the main room was way too busy to dance, i hate getting bumped so much. Manzone & Strong in the Drink sounded almost exactly like the Junkies, so I didn't get much more variety there. Steve Aoki was playing in the Kool Haus when I went in, playing "Alarma - 666". That song was annoying in 2000, it's not any better now. Tried to finish off the night in the main room when it was a bit less crowded but Sharam was brutal, some huge buildups to absolutely nothing, just a bare beat. It seemed like the same beat everytime.
All in all a good beginning of the night, but I was surprised at the lack of variety, that is the main reason I go to the big all access events. Disappointed for the 50 bucks I paid.
this is.. by FAR... the best review I ever READ.
thank you.
i want ONLY text msg reviews from now on.... this was EPIC.

Review later.
Two firsts for me:
1. KH being more packed and hotter than Guv.
2. Me wanting to be in the Guv more than in KH.
That sloppy scene in the KH made me want to poke out Peter Gatien's good eye and kick Michael Alig in the balls.
I had a good night, though.
Highlight of the night was at 6 am when all i heard was Here we Go in the mainroom ... I went to the clouds just at this time ... Perfect
Thank you Steven Angello

what a shitshow Decadence was.....the party its self rivals Labour of Love.....the talent doesnt scream A-LIST but it made up for its self.....
fisrt off Guv needs to realize Sharam with out Dubfire doesnt work.....
I got a text that Steve Angello and Ingrosso arrived to the club in a RR Phantom, with black as nyte tints, rims and a licene plate that reed "New Money"......clearly rented out by Guv for them.....cool non the less.......
The Bloody Beatroots decked out in Venom masks killed in KH.....never seen them before and they rocked out hard......
Crookers was a let down for me, they played sum good tunes but the overal wasnt wat I expected.....
Ramdomly I met Aoki on the side of the KH stage......
I seen Aoki and MSTRKRFT too many times so I didnt catch to much of there sets, but from what I caught they rocked out hard.....
Orange room was on fire with sum dark minimal shit.....didnt stick around to long because I didnt pay $55 to watch locals.....
Sharam = shit as i mentioned earlier......
Tocadisco was good from what I hered.....I was more interested in his women.....
Steve Angello stole the show.....he played all of the hits.....except for body crash, unless I missed it......these guys were so high.....and I say that because they kept flashing strobe lights at the crowd, and there heads dipped under the dj booth.....then when they reappeared you could see the light in there eyes......
Tune of the night --- Spun by Bloody Beetroots - Audioporno - Choo Choo (Bloody Beetroots remix)
Spun by Steve Angello - It was a electro track with Eminem's vocals saying "ELETRO, NOBODY LISTENS TO TECHNO, ELETRO" over and over.... track i'd please.....
not sure what everyone is going on about...
i thought sharam was fucking great!!!
he sucked at halloween...really really bad.... and i totally thought he was going to be the downer again so it was a pleasure to hear him bang it out on thursday night. He played alot harder probably cause of the shorter set, had great visuals, was into his music and the crowd. The music itself was also fantastic but i guess each to their own right.
tocadisco was fantastic. I sorta had a feeling he would put a great show and he did. Infact "walking away" was probably his weakest track that honestly felt like he just threw it in there cuz he sorta had to at the end. great set
kaskade was my first time seeing him and totally what i expected. tonnes of vocals but put together really well. had the crowd moving.
was so tired that left after an hour of angello. It was great don't get me wrong but school has been kicking my ass and still had a birthday party to attend the next night. I want to see him do another extended set soon.
The orange room was fun everytime i went in there. Joee Cons continues to rock every room he plays.
the kool haus however.....wow...we walk through at the end to get our jackets and all i hear is "SHUT THE FUCK UP !!!! SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!"
gotta say the crowd was wild but honestly as much as i love mstrkfrt, that was a shitshow. major emphasis on SHIT!! keep those nights to concerts or their own events or something. HATED IT!
matter of opinion thought.....right?
heh
bohemian rhapsody woulda been really cool to hear
disappointed i missed that however,
