YAY!! I bought my computer. I managed to get them to give me an extra $100 off the computer and $30 off the laptop backpack I selected (with some serious haggling... it took a lot but they finally gave in). Muahahah... and shutup, I am proud of my haggling skills so don't be raining on my parade if "you've done better"

I guess I can update my laptop story here without bumping my thread.

I finally got my Vaio after Sony delayed shipment. It's the bee's knees and the cat's pajamas.

Specs again for those who missed it and actually care:

2.4ghz core2duo
4gigs ram @ 800mhz
intel gma graphics
320gig hd 5400rpm
14.1" screen
Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit

looks snazzy enough, runs snappy enough, and feels solid enough (moreso than my old macbook).

I paid $1,028 with tax.
