Well, the winners from the last contest is posted now, so i`d say its fair to let the ball roll and let the winner of the last contest decide what the next track is going to be.

that sounds like a good idea there subtle

i would go with that idea...

what about if we are only allowed to choose a song that is 10 years old or older.....

that might be a good idea as well as there's some really good old tracks out there.

I'm a fan of the original, but why not remix something interesting!

Why? It's the most flexible out of any of the optional and easily has the most memorable melody.

Then you have people being lazy and begging for a MIDI 99% of the time. Either that or Endless Wave or Greece 2000 being the popular choices (each almost 10 years old).

But why always remix a track that's already a House/Trance track, that's just not exciting anymore. I think it's a challenge to take a regular song (like the Annie or Garbage track in the poll), and see what people make of that. It takes a lot more skill to make something decent from that, and that's a challenge.

We need some more Mirco votes!

Well that would kind of miss the point of having a remix competition.

Why not remix Kalinka-Malinka? http://www.guide-guru.com/music/kalinka-malinka.zip

For those of you who know what song this is, +OVER9000 for you...for those that don't. Fail.

Posted by cybernetica on Apr-17-2009 17:25:

I voted Teleport... not too familiar with Alt+F4 but sounds nice.

Oy, to Ne Vecher, Fedor's entrance music.

Fedor_s Entrance Music - Oy. to Ne Vecher.mp3 - 5.50MB

There are so many great records in that list and Alt F4 is leading the pool? I mean it's a good track but to remix it I'm not sure there is too much one can do with it. May be it's because ALt F4 is easiest of them all to remix???

We shoulda only picked tracks from 1998 and before.

Teleport it is, now lets hunt down the vocal sample for it, i believe its taken from the movie The Fly.

Oh, and we must re-create the FX on the sample too the way he did it.

Posted by owien on Apr-18-2009 22:27:

teleport by the man with no name now this will be very interesting indeed.
