agreed, and to their masters they show 0 hostility.

FUCK YES CORGIS!!!
I have owned a few. They are very smart dogs.
They were cattle herding dogs, can get in low and nip at the feet of their herd. That instinct is still in them very strong.
This my current Corgi, Sachi.

Joss, your Corgi seems to have a slimmer looking face than most I've seen. Is there a reason for that (breed-wise, I mean), or are most Corgis just fat-asses?

Most fit pembroke welsh corgis look like him (minus the one floppy ear).
My previous corgi was a fatty, much bigger than this one.
They tend to get fat fairly easily, you really have to work them out. Its not that hard, they are very active dogs. My corgi can get a good two feet of air catching the frisbee if he gets a good run.
Just another random pic, when he was like 2 or 3 months old.

Actually dobermans, rottweilers and german shepherds are. They are all among the most fearless breeds, but are also in the top 10 for intelligence and obeying orders. AFAIK, boxers are one of the dumber dog breeds and can be very stubborn.

My cousin had a corgi and it was pretty cool, hyper as shit though the thing would never sit still.
I really want one of these, I'm just never going to have the time to take care of one. My aunt and uncle live in Michigan and they have a couple, some of the coolest dogs I've ever seen.

Aww, Huskies are absolutely awesome dogs. Soooooo much work though! Our [urban] environment doesn't quite suit their needs. I have to say, it kind of pisses me off seeing these types of dogs in places where they have no space to run

Huskies and malamutes are pretty terrible pets. They look cool and everything, but they have far too much wolf in them to be desirable pets. No matter how good you are at training dogs, they are still too wild and will do what they want first. If they get off the lead, they aren't coming back. Likewise, if they get in a fight with another dog, you better stay out of their way. My friend learned that lesson the hard way, when his own malamute took a massive chunk out of his arm lol.

Gizmo had an eye problem and couldn't be a show dog anymore. Apparently he was very athletic, but now he's a little fat
Joss, your Corgi is very cute. How old is it?
Corgi's aren't completely worthless like Sushi was trying to say, they can be really playful or really chill, depending on how you interact with them. I'm excited to hang out with Rosie soon Posted by daydreamer on Apr-17-2009 12:42:

He is just mad that in Poland you have to eat dogs to survive, not keep them as pets... Posted by stren on Apr-17-2009 13:43:

I wouldn't ever count Corgis in the small dog class.
Even if you account for stature none of their other traits come across as being those of toy or other small dogs. They usually weigh in the 25-30lbs range, some even closer to 40lbs.
They are working dogs through and through, just like a Border Collie or other breed. Very active, very intelligent, very loyal, very kind.
They also have a big-dog bark. Behind a fence you wouldn't know what size dog is barking at you.

Are you kidding me? They have herding instincts, they're very intelligent. They can learn commands no problem, especially when they're young.
Here's Rosie, my girlfriend just got her:
