A couple more track shout outs.

Ben Klock - Subzero
Fu*kin' filthy.

PJ Harvey & John Parish - Cracks In The Canvas
What a more perfect way to end this mix. Sends tears down my face. Simply beautiful.

Looks stunning judging by the TL, lots of really good artists... I even see Biosphere and Yagya in there. Let's go!

HappyHappy

After listening through this, here is what i thought about it:

Great track selection, but tbh it was all over the place, there wasn't anythting holdin all the tracks together, i just didnt feel any buildup etc.....

meh....not that great.

WOW. Insane EM! So many good tracks and the transitions are just flawless. I loved this track of his: Wigald Boning 'Kobra Dance (Joris Voorn Interpretation).

Doubt it will get a release though.

That was my opinion of him live. I don't know if he's consistently like that, but it was nowhere near as coherent as Balance 14.

I'm a massive Joris fan, but he was slamming some awesome techno then he'd start playing handbag house. no one could get in the mood

I might download this when I get a chance, but I prefer to think of him as the guy who did blank, balance 14 and From A Deep Place.

This is exactly what happened during the mix lol. Granted, they were all great tracks, just that the programing left a bit to be desired.

There were some good tunes to be heard, but I have to agree with this lacking any real flow overall....Haven't heard Balance 014 but hopefully its better than this.

Who's got time for programming when one has to cram as many tracks and loops of tracks in such a small space of time?

Hence the futility...

Posted by Sand Leaper on Apr-24-2009 00:54:

Surely that was a rhetorical question?
