Never been to Dreams. How's the venue?

hmmmm... I am very tempted to fly down from DC for this.

Kazell is fucking awesome too

I yield any mild trancehumps I may get of this show until we have a concrete length of the "very special extended set" which more often than not turns out to be 3 hours anyways

Not to say I don't like Kazell or anything, but still

definitly longer then 3 hours, still waiting on final confirmation on set length. Dont want to post anymore up about set length till I get it and should have it by next week.

I think I'll be making the drive up...

They just better not pull a Tiesto at North Atlanta Trade Center thing

Posted by iammesol on Apr-25-2009 14:12:

or Dubfire @ Dreams thing

Ya...something tells me we can probably expect it...

I love Kazell though, so if he plays the last hour or whatever, it might be okay.

But I definitely hope Sasha/Digweed play for 5+ hours.

Coming on at 1'ish and leaving at 4'ish will kind of make this night very much less epic! Even with Kazell picking up the slack.

honestly though, i think this show is going to have a much different feel then dubfire's. i mean it's sasha and digweed. sasha and digweed.... i could write that a thousand more times and not get bored of it.

those two are absolute legends in their own right, but TOGETHER, it's gonna be Ssssssick. beyond sick. with all due respect to dubfire, it's going to be a different vibe at dreams.

i'm getting my ticket soon because i think this show is going to pull people out of the woodwork. i wouldn't be surprised if this thread is 50 pages by the time july rolls around.

Dare we resurrect the Sasha thread from 2008?

Posted by Seppuku on Apr-25-2009 22:27:

I think we can expect a lengthy set, 6+ hour sets are common for Sasha & Digweed.

We're not talking about Halloween now, are we?

Posted by Big Worm on Apr-25-2009 22:50:

i'm smiling to myself thinking that it was a mammoth thread.... legendary.

so, how long was it?

Posted by trancension on Apr-25-2009 22:53:

That 2007 set was epic, Halloween with Spooky and Sasha!

I actually didn't know about TA back then...wow that's some long ass threading going on back then.

Just bought tickets. I saw them play a 4-5 hour set one year at Bonnaroo and it was AMAZING, especially once the sun started to come up and they kicked it into high gear for the last 15-20 minutes of the set. Oh man, I get chills thinking about it.

Seriously, if their set is even half as good as the set they played at bonnaroo you won't be disappointed.
