jay showed me this great new move he invented last night. he kinda spun around and moved his arms a little. It worked for him sat night. all he needs to perfect the move are some sweet gloves.

Thanks Z! Great pics (put em on FB *hint hint*) Haha, I forgot Carol picked me up outside

Sucks I missed this, but have to much going on. AKA Sister had her house warming party with like 30 people, and they wanted me to cater. (And of course, be there.)

Oh well, see you the 16th instead. =P

I disagree!! This was the first time in a loong time that the vibe was er...."normal." There was no head-swinger-dancers (think: those sketchy elderly asians at pacha), no string-swinging glowstickers, no people so faked that they couldnt handle themselves.

Clearly, people were using, but they were all dancing, having fun, and not having their ridiculous sketchniess interfere with others good times.

**Thats clearly not to say that all the youngins act like this**, but I def noticed a huge difference in the mentality of people there saturday, and Im sure **SOME** of it had to do with the age limit.

And people kept the glowsticks in their HANDS which is awesome. (as soon as those other people start swinging those things on strings it faks up the entire dancelfoor situation and you are in constant fear of getting smacked in the damn face!! thankfully i didnt see any of this saturday).

I thought the vibe was much better than other nights!! Finally people are being respectful of the fact that there are others on the dancefloor, and we want to have a great time, just as they are....PROPS!!

I had a great time. Got there at 1:30 or so because of prior plans, so I dont know how the beginning was.

The sets were on point....Guiseppe ("zees italian guy"...as grazi calls him) was on fire.....and loved Tom's set omg! Its great that he is getting out there and playing in other places bc IMO, he deserves it.

My only complaint was the HEAT. OMG!!! The ceiling was DRIPPING on my head with perspiration and my hair was wet by the end of the night....ewwww!! soo nasty!! and dancing in heels and having great toons = more hotness....it was messy! lol hopefully all pics form this night have been BURNED.

loves seeing everyone out!! great great crew out that night and mad props to another awesome party by massive

I agree w/ you Kelly. I was disappointed that my youngins couldn't go. They're a nice respectful bunch. But it was very nice to do without the sketchy "glowstick of death" wielding crowd of people who can't contain themselves.

Haha, there was one pic of you, me, and Grazi that I didn't even bother to upload cause ALL of us looked less than stellar. Must have been the camera...

musta been the camera!!! LMFAO!! ewww to the ceiling dripping!!

agreed, there are def some youngsters that know how to handle themsleves just fine. I am NOT preaching here, we have *all* been in some sort of "state" whether drinking or otherwise. LOL.

I could clearly see that some people were "doing their thing" (so we shall call it here), but everyone at Love saturday was dancing, laughing, off in the fraggle rock, whatever!! but no nonsense. I can completely respect people glowsticking as well. I know you and Jay and some others, for example, are always busting out. the way YOU two do it is fine and cool and doesnt make other people in constant fear of getting a black eye because of those damn strings. LOLOL. RESPECT to you.

Posted by BradMiller on Apr-28-2009 02:46:

Agree to disagree - cause I like the youngins I still saw people doing "their thing" and glowstickers on sat, it just wasn't as in your face since the place had less people overall. Call me crazy but I think the under 21 crowd brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the room, and I like that!

Posted by yankeeBaby on Apr-28-2009 03:12:

I dont think we are disagreeing brad, I think we are talking about two different types of young people. Like I said, there are plenty of youngins that bring the awesome vibe and have a *positive* energy.

But I also notice that in the younger crowds and 18+ parties there are a LOT more people who cant handle their shit. The last 18+ party I went to at Love, there was a guy sooo hammered that he was falling all over people, head butting several people as he walked by. At the same party, there were people with glowstick strings smacking people in the face while they were dancing. Same party: people breakdancing in a PACKED house and kicking people in the face.and then after kicking said person, going BACK in the circle and doing it again. Um did you NOT learn that you are messing with peoples flow (and/or hurting them) the first time?? Duh. Same party, some e-tard doing the elderly asain dance and swinging himself and his girlfriend around like a maniac. It becomes VERY hard to enjoy a party when a large amount of people are acting foolish and interrupting your *own* flow. I know I am not the only person who feels this way.

*edit: also I was pretty clear that I have no problem with people using substances or playing with glowsticks. I think people just need to be responsible with both, meaning feel free to do it, just be aware of the people around you. People using sticks in their hands are cool beans, but people taking up a 20 foot radius in an already overlypacked, overly hot club is just infuriating. If we both paid the same admission, does this mean that I ALSO get a 20 foot radius to dance?

Just my 2 cents. The faked up people mentioned above may not even BE in the 18-21 year old range, its just something I noticed as a trend, really. Over all the vibe was great Saturday, so my complaints lie on other occasions, and I respect the people who came out, did their thing and were respectful of people around them

We were dripping sweat in Hartford for Randys show too, thats the worst part about these clubs, and lol @ elderly asains Kelly, just so funny to read the frank-ness of your review hahahaha!!

Posted by eyebegod on Apr-28-2009 05:33:

i gotta say, im 21 so i appreciate the talk about some of us being respectful. I see other kids my age and think "when will they grow up". im just glad that i was that 16 year old at pacha and have "been there and done that"

Posted by The Vza on Apr-28-2009 05:39:

Kel - you sound like an old lady. LOL!!!!!! ahahahahaha jk jk kinda, hahahaha

i feel you though on lil youngins running around actin a fool and all that. HAHAHAhahahAHAHA. like when my boy bill put the horsey on the dance floor and made the glow stick shrine. he's 23. HAHAhaha!!!

sounds like you guys had a great F'ing time. I'll be down soon to do MY thing (just dont tell my PO or sponsor)

Posted by Stunade on Apr-28-2009 06:07:

Okay, finally my glowing review.

Brad, nice to finally meet you. Sorry I missed most of your set, but you ended with sweet energy!

GO...wow, impeccable mixing, awesome track listing and just really got into the crowd of the whole 30 of us But seriously?!?!? FORBIDDEN FRUIT super-classic favorite! And Marcello, I agree with the taking notes. I'll let you read my cruel review of "In Between" once that's posted. And ahhhh, the memories with New Year's Day...Ferry's January LEF show, still the greatest I've ever seen, although the WH one rooooooooooooooooooooocked...damn anyway, back to GO, the new man of the hour. Definitely feeling the love there!

Colontonio repeated JOC's set from Love. That was strange, or else, I just haven't noticed before. Hey, what's better than seeing the same great show twice in a row? And bro-in-law avoided!

Special thanks to Aleks for keeping me and my bag company all night <3

Party was sick, Guiseppe played some nasty shit I was glad to finally get to see him, as I missed that NuNRG, MIKE, Perry O'Neil party a few years ago and I'm still sad about it.

My only complaint, and not even a complaint but...

only Live going on was Ableton

I expected a little more Live performance, than a few random filler notes here and there on the keyboard.

Still the set was banging. Tommyboy was great too, I stayed for about half of his set but had to be up mad early the next day.

Posted by sayang on Apr-28-2009 16:48:

Anybody know the first track that Giuseppe played?

my birthday a few weeks ago took me from the "mid-twenties box" to the "late-twenties box", so I guess I am getting old

regardless, when I was 18, partying in Guv (the #1 venue for head bangin 60- year old asians!), that I *still* did not like any of the above mentioned mood-killers. I just wanna DANCE!!! haha!

Posted by KTyas on Apr-28-2009 18:10:

being 20... i must say that i have to stick up for my 21 and under buddies saying that i sometimes see 30 and even 40 yr olds not being able to handle their own shit... some of my friends can handle themselves better than alot of older ppl i know... so maybe there are youngins bein stupid.... but they arent my friends haha lets clear that up
