$499 is a bit steep for me considering i just and only paid $75 for my version of cubase (student discount).
Propellerheads have student discount on their products too you know.

Sounds interesting. Hopefully it will integrate well with Reason. And it would be awesome to see some of the Reason devices as native plugins.

1. Right now i think Reaper is the best DAW out there!
2. Ableton live is cool i just rewire it to my main DAW which is Reaper!
3.Propellerhead's New D.A.W made give Reaper a run for the MONEY, but we will see!

By 3PM GMT we'll all know... finally! The hype thing did well, and now everyone wants to know what they're coming up with. Congrats Props.
But I wanted to see random people announce their favourite DAW some more.

Propellerhead�s own Reason and ReBirth, Ableton Live, Image-Line�s Fruity Loops (now FL Studio), and Sonic Foundry (now Sony) Acid all had a big impact on a wide group of computer music makers by effectively changing the mold. (And, of course, with or without big user bases, readers of this site are fans of many lesser-known tools that have done the same.) We�ll have a number of months to begin to see what Record�s contribution might be. But whether it�s successful or not, the good news today was that, after all this time, Propellerhead isn�t using anyone else�s mold. vst is so dated imo. included instruments that never crash and makes it easy to backup ftw. im hoping rewiring with reason
