I went to KFC last night to use my coupon, and they're no longer "honoring" the coupons (and apparently this is nationwide) because people were photocopying them they gave me some ghetto form to fill out and you send in your coupon with the form, and they'll mail you a new legit one.. WHACK! but by the time i stood in line and was smelling the damn food, and got to the counter to find out it wasnt free... i bought it anyways sooooo good

i love how people are interviewed about not getting their chicken.you'd think kfc was denying them the second coming of christ.like this comment:

very. i wouldn't be surprised at all if this whole 'debacle' was planned... they get massive foot traffic from the invalidated coupon and hungry people like lyndsay hellbent on eating chicken end up buying kfc while others give the company their mailing address and whatever other info the form asks for. win-win for them.

I am sure it was.

The box where u would give them the paperwork for the "raincheck" had a nice logo and everything. They couldn't pull that and the forms out of their ass from one day to the next.

I am sure they made MILLIONS from all the people that went and filled out the raincheck form and still stayed and got something to eat. Most of the people wouldn't have gone in the first place but because of the illusion of free food they got duped. So its extra revenue no matter how you see it.

I was one of them, i went starving so i ended up buying something there. I am sure I wasn't the only one...

KFC is already running ads today during the Giants/Dodgers game with Roger Eaton apologizing to everyone. That was a quick turnaround with that ad.
