I do actually have a car. And I don't have to worry about getting jacked. Who wants to steal a 2005 Ford (cli)Taurus?

That's right, I rock a couch on wheels!

Not if you know what you're doing.

Dunno whats up w/ parking enforcement, but I am averaging a no front license plate ticket almost every other time I park on the street. Its $25 bucks or $10 bucks if you get it fixed (go to CHP and get a stamp or take a date stamped pic).

LA must be broke!

LA is broke, but that's not the reason for the ticket. That's a quick $25 for the city that's been enforced consistently for years.

LA is broke.

I have never heard of anything like that happen down here in San Diego.

People are getting pulled over down here for bullshit reasons though, so its pretty much the same i guess...

Depending on the city, the ticket might not even tell you that it's a fix it ticket and that you can pay a smaller fine if you get it fixed. If you don't catch on to it, you'll end up paying the higher fine because you don't know any better. Once, I called them to double-check and they told me that I can just pay the processing fee only if I get it fixed and documented.

Yeah, all these BS tickets out here suck for sure, but it was nothing like back in Cum-Blow-Us Ohio. There were no tickets. Yep you read that right, NO tickets. They just towed. Instantly. Pack of wandering tow trucks with the authority to take your car away if they felt like it. One inch too far from the curb? Towed. 5 Minutes left on your meter? They would start the towing process and have your car whisked away the second it went to 0. Or 1 if they were bored enough....so....much...hate....

Crazy...kinda like NY...Their tow truck drivers/impound are actual NYPD officers driving around a tow truck.

Lately, I just give myself a ticket when I get out of my car. (an old one. lol!)

That lot is great. It's always open (even at 7am), always someone there watching the lot, and it's lighted.

Never had a problem there.

Metro rail FTW! Fortunately, when I was in LA, I lived near Pasadena so I take gold line to union station and then the red line to Hollywood/Vine. Don't have to worry about finding parking, paying parking fees and having your car broken into. And you couldn't bail out early since red line opens around 4AM so I had no choice but to party until closing

I park for $20 =/

I need to find cheaper or free parking, that $20 could be some good post clubbing foood.
