Thanks Cribby!! Been waiting for that vid, now I need an ID!!
Good times with good people.
I was quite impressed with the club, really nice looking! The crowd wasn't that great, but I've had far worse experiences with the Circa crowd (then again I stayed in areas where there was space to dance...which were few and far between Friday night). Overall, enjoyed Fanciulli for the most part, a couple tracks that were miss for me...but I definitely enjoyed most of his set! My stomach and I however had a pretty bad falling out on Friday which was a bit of a buzzkill, but otherwise a fun party!
Pleasure to meet a whole lot of new faces!
Fantastic performance by the djs on Friday. KOS did a brilliant job, he played the almost perfect warm up set, I never knew he was that good. Neither have i ever seen a TIL crowd enjoy tech house so much either and judging by the crowd reaction he should easily be the headliner himself next time he plays in Toronto. When he dropped 'summertime' by Jamie jones
KOS is going to be huge!
After listening to Fanciulli on Friday i finally get why people love him. I was skeptical because TIL did not seem like the place where he would deliver but man did he! The 3 other times iv heard him hes always been overshadowed by either Dubfire, Lawler or somebody else. Iv also noticed that he usually takes around 20-30 minutes to really get going. Anyways he really brought his A game on Friday. He seemed much more energetic than past times maybe because hes promoting his GU album. He definitely played more progressive than tech, something that Cattaneo did as well and they both did an excellent job. One of top tracks of the night was Smokey Eyes (Dave Robertson Mix). Its a great track, Zabiela plays it quite a bit as well. Im surprised people left early as he was really on fire, shame really. You could see that he would easily have gone on for much longer. He ended with la roux- in for the kill (skream remix). Excellent way to end the night, reminded me a lot of the dubstep/garage culture in England.
SUMMARY: They are going to KILL this tour

Fanciulli has never disapointed me. Dubfire, Lawler, Deep Dish etc... In the past few years I've seen him, he has always overshadowed them IMO....

I'm glad he didn't disappoint...he's incredible. Hopefully someone hears our wishes to have him come back and headline!

| Originally posted by chinamon i was very impressed with KOS. it was my first time seeing him play and i hope it wont be my last. as for nic fanciulli, he always throws it down proper in my opinion. i asked KOS how come he doesnt have any mixes or radio sets floating around the internet and he said hes been extremely busy in the studio but will try to put a mix together when he gets home from the GU tour in june. hopefully he is able to find the time to do it. |
If u do ever come across a set of his, keep me in mind
and i'll do the same!
