Anyways lol slylee you really didn't know about that shit? Remember during confrence when I had that purple stuff? That was from growers out in cali.

no i really didn't. when i went to cali in the past, i was either A. like 14 years old and with my dad and B. i wasn't a pot smoker at the time so i wouldn't really catch on to that.

i used to brag about florida weed but fuck, forget it. cali takes the cake with that one. even better than the 100% pure canadian shit we got our hands on recently. and that stuff was in vacuum sealed bags straight from canada too.

I can't speak for the rest of Washington state, but Seattle is just about as relaxed. Bear in mind here that I use the term "relaxed" very loosely. Pot isn't necessarily legal, but no cop really gives a shit. In fact, a 2003 law made possession the lowest priority for Seattle police. The most recent data I can find shows that only about 35 people in the city were arrested for possession in 2005, compared to about 500 annually before the law. There have been multiple instances were cops have walked by as I've had a joint in my hand outside a busy venue, and not once have I ever even been talked to.

This right here is just more proof that Florida sucks.

Sadly, it isn't like that here. Cops are still assholes about it.

haha

I was actually thinking about visiting Seattle next year sometime. I am planning to go to Japan end of May or early June, but I want to take something small in like Sept.

I heard Seattle has a high ugly to hot ratio. They don't need more ugly!

j/k

nice one Scott.

Scott's dead to me.

If you do plan for September, Ben, try for the end of it, as that's usually when Decibel Festival is. Four days of epic, epic win.

Shit man, that sounds like a fantastic festival too. w00t This sounds like I really gotta bust my ass for some money. Although, Japan will be quite cheap. No worries about accomodations.

i mostly know of it making people fatter because of the whole munchies thing. i get the munchies really bad. i'll go make a plate full of cheese and crackers at like 10 at night after smoking a joint. lol and i still stay skinny as hell.

one thing i noticed about L.A. is that about 95% of the male population look like total fags. i'm serious. i cannot stand the fashion there omg, it's horrid. fohawks and eyeliner and neck ties with skinny jeans and converse and stupid hats n shit it's gone a little too far over there lol the people were overall very friendly and laid back. moreso than miami. south florida is the pits when it comes to the people. no one is friendly here and no one gives a shit about you unless you either
A. have drugs
B. own a nightclub
C. drive a hot car
D. are a DJ

lol it's lame, really.

but i will say one thing we totally have on you west coasters is way better ocean water. it's warmer and more bright turquois like that carribbean water. the pacific just looks cold and nasty! i wouldn't dream of going in that water.

Posted by Joss Weatherby on May-21-2009 23:29:

Man Jake you ever been to hempfest? I havent but have friends who have.... lol the whole thing is a giant pot party... everyone is smoking and the cops dont do shit.

As long as it doesnt look like your dealing cops dont give a fuck.

No offense to you specifically, but can all you dumb fucks that think California water is dirty because it isn't clear blue shut the fuck up already!? It isn't fucking clear blue BECAUSE IT HAS NUTRIENTS IN THE WATER!

ugh /rant

Posted by Slylee on May-21-2009 23:33:

no no i didn't mean like it's dirty, i just meant it looks rough and uninviting. like cold, and too big a waves, etc..

basically not meant for jet skis

lol well I will admit, it is cold till about mid June. And it can be bad for jet skis, but it just depends, but more often than not, I would say no.

ps: I went on that rant because people say that our water is dirty all the time for this reason, and I am so sick of hearing that shit.

Thats because the Pacific is an ocean, the Atlantic and Gulf are a pond.

Posted by Slylee on May-21-2009 23:44:

i remember being in san diego when i was 10 with my dad and some people after a grand canyon trip, we drove there. it was in like july i believe and i went swimming on pacific beach and it was freezing and dark blue.

you're talking to someone who went to the keys like every summer as a kid so i have high expectations when it comes to the quality of the ocean for swimming and snorkeling and jet skiing and stuff. unless it's fiji in the south pacific, no thanks to the pacific

LOL I have swum in the pacific in like september/october...

You just go out and dive right in! Charge the waves and stuff... its fun. Feels like someone tackling you!

Actually if you want beaches that are a bit more protected you have to go to the Oregon coast. Its amazing, there are so many river outlets and stuff that form little tidals areas. You get tides that fill up these little deltas with a couple of feet of water for a while. Its like taking a bath.

Hey, just because the water temp isn't 90 in the summer and 75 in the summer, doesn't make it too cold to swim in!

I go swimming in the Puget Sound, the water temperature in it probably averages about 55 to 60 in the summer... if that. Get a couple cold days and the waters back down in the 40's, even in July/August. Still gone swimming in it though!

Makes ya feel alive! My parents used to say I was like a seal, I could stay in that water for hours on a warm day.

Now that is just too fucking cold. Our water temp in the winter gets too fucking cold (like 60s) but in the summer, once it warms up is around 70.
