The Radisson is accross from our alma mater and it's really the perfect location for us with a very short walk that is heavily traveled and well-lit. I wanted to avoid the taxi nightmare that we encountered last year when staying downtown for MM.

Yeah, totally great idea to get hotel within walking distance. In the past friends told me they waited 2hrs for a cab. Everytime they called cab co. the cab that arrived was taken by some others.
