I inclined to say that Lawler peaked 1982-85

Yesh! A little bit of funk mixed with some drums = pure heaven

I love the way Lawler incorporates drums into his set. He does it in such a sexy way.

HERE ARE THE 2 MOST RECENT ... enjoy

Haven't DL'd yet... how is the Melkweg compared to the EM? Similar tracks or much different?

Posted by Dior Homme on May-28-2009 20:40:

I felt melkweg was short and sweet. The EMs first hour built up slowly for the 2nd. 2nd half was intense. Similar tracks though. anyone from miami find the track selection somewhat similar?

yes

Posted by Ni-Cd on May-29-2009 20:26:

definitely DEFINITELY loving the essential mix and the Melkweg set. Funky drums woven in, some eastern sounds that sound pretty sic too.

Lawler!!

Posted by Xavier Moriarty on May-30-2009 02:26:

around 64 min, them horns, thats serbian gypsy music. i would reckognise those samples anywhere.

but besides that, if this is steve lawer nowadays....

let the games begin.

instead of sunrise set he should play special surprise midnight set at the drink. id pay lots of money to hear something like this up there.

wow!!!
