Morillo hasnt played a great set in nyc since 2003...

he plays better outside of nyc then when he does in nyc. he played a friday gig at pacha one nite and shit the bed only to go down to miami and kill it at the crobar closer

are you sure in terms of revenue generation? as far as I remember, Hed Kandi became the second biggest independent House Label in the world and is actually more well known than Eric Morillo as a "brand", just got mismanaged when Ministry of Sound bought it out by 2006 and the original team became Fierce Angels now...so I do understand why do they have those nights in Ibiza due to brand recognition...Hed Kandi still has residencies all over the world just like Pacha and is more well known than Pacha even in some countries in Europe and Asia...just my two cents worth though...

goin back to topic, i do hope Oakenfold has turned a corner and gets better. i dont like him but I wish him well.

Hed Kandi is huge in Europe and as a brand its wayy bigger than Morillo.... I went to one of their nights at El Devino in 2006 and it was banging!!

i'm pretty sure about the revenue $s as the venue Hed Kandi was at (El Divino) holds only a fraction of the people that Pacha does...also they charge a lot less to get in. Subliminal at Pacha is an institution and one of the top nites on the island.

i agree Hed Kandi is a huge brand - i have several of their older mix cds and totally dig them - i'm just saying that in Ibiza, Morillo's nite generates way more revenue.

Def generates more cash.... But the number one cash generating night is Guetta's night not counting events at Privilage!! Not a fair comparison when it fits 10k

Oakenfold was good at rain.
