Your mate is right, he doesn't anymore. The big man behind Tisto is Dennis Waakop Reijers (Ofcourse Dutch )

Heh, replace the name tiesto with everyone on the top 40, and it will still be true. Most of the EDM industry is completely shit.

except infected mushroom

Posted by cronodevir on May-28-2009 23:35:

Infected Mushroom has one good song.

oh boy which one lol

if by song you mean 75% of their discography then yes I agree

Posted by cronodevir on May-29-2009 00:13:

Never Ever Land, Most of their stuff however, is a very shitty mix of psy and rock. And its not like 70's psychedelic rock either. Which is quite spiffy [jefferson airplane, pink floyd, etc etc] Its just noisy guitars and other raspy annoying sounds. The whole Heavy Metal Goa genera is crap to be fair.

noisy guitars?
what have you been listening to, their new album?

not to sound like pompous fan but their mid-old albums were the best (classical, bpempire, conv)
im the supervisor has 3 good songs
and vicious delicious...well its enjoyable but thats just because ive been listening to them for a long while I guess
theyre my favorite band, but hey this is music and everyone has their taste

Posted by cronodevir on May-29-2009 00:45:

All I have heard from them was the noisy guitar stuff. But in general I don't like Psy much anyways, Now Goa on the other hand can sometimes be spiffy.

I wasn't going to click on this thread, but then I thought I'd just ask, who cares? Is anyone in any doubt as to how tiesto makes his sounds? I'm curious about other producers, but not tiesto, his tracks seem fairly straightforward to me, regardless of quality.

Excuse me, I'm now going to post an interesting thread about a producer who's sound hasn't been copied by everyone now.

Shut the fuck up, seriously.

You sound like a bitter egotistical bitch. People like Tiesto, a lot of people, **THEY** want to know and **THEY** dont give a flying fuck what some random condescending prick from some forum thinks.

Spread your negativity elsewhere because everything I see you type makes you seem like a genuine piece of shit.

Lot's of flaming on the forum, today.

i presume you are trying to imply something heavily by capitalizing and adding sparkles to they. who are these people behind they? i am fascinated by the mysteriousness of they, please do elaborate.

They're called asteriks and "they" is anyone who likes Tiesto, which is a lot, despite the swarm of envious deushbags I see always talking trash about him.

The way people crap on Tiesto here sickens me. Hes done more for the world of trance then everyone in this forum combined. So everytime you shit on tiesto you shit on trance whether you like his music or not.

haven't read the whole thread, but seeing the title, I kind of assumed it would turn in that direction

Tiesto hasn't done a single good thing for Trance. He is equal to basshunter in skill and relevance. Because alot of people support someone doesn't mean they are good. Sou8lja Boy has alot of fans, his music is relatively benign, that's it!

Tiesto is the SouljaBoy of trance.

Crank Dat 'what ever tesito made' song, yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!

this brings up a good question: who has contributed more to "trance" for the better since they've reached the #1 dj status? tiesto or avb?
