there's been times where i really needed to wash my hair (i was on day 2 or something of not washing it) and my bf was like, "we're going out, get ready fast" and i was like FUCK. i just put it up and freshened up and was ready in 15 min and those are the times when someone is like, "omg i love your hair"

Posted by Silky Johnson on May-28-2009 18:26:

30-40 mins. I wake up, make my bed, shower, blow dry my hair, get dressed...then I make breakfast and check the internets. Brush my teeth and I'm out the door. I always pack my lunch the night before.

I'm sure that would save me lots of time in the morning. Usually after cooking, I just don't want to get anything else out, you know?

lol woah who the fuck makes breakfast and has time to do other things in the morning

actually, i like cleaning when i wake up. i used to get a lot of cleaning done in the mornings before i left for work. just little things like empty the sink and put stuff in the dishwasher, etc.. i didn't like coming home after work and having to do that stuff so i'd do it in the morning because the night before i was too tired/stoned lol

i can't do that plus that ruins your hair so much. i just wash & let dry on its own you should do that one day & see how awesome it is to be lazy,... ROSSSITTAA.

I do that every other day in the week

I just wash it and let it dry on it's own and it's all nice and wavy and whatever and people are like "omg what do you do to your hair?" and im like "shampoo, conditioner, comb and let it dry on it's own" and everyone is like "wtf" lol

I don't even use gel and all that shit. It's sooooo bad for your hair. I've never even colored my hair before and everytime I go to the salon or something they are like "how often do you color your hair? its really dark" and im like "i never have...." and they are like "well honey you better not even think about coloring it because look at mine! its all damaged and thin and you have great hair and great shine and volume and blah blah blah blah" lmao there is no need to color my hair now. Black is a great color and I think it's the only color I can pull off anyways.

yup same here.

I get that all of the time as well, though I've never, ever coloured my hair. I am pale as the grave though, so that may have something to do with it, but I swear it almost looks red when in the sun.

LMFAO. "well honey!.."

actually, i never use products or curl, straighten, blow dry.. BUT i used to dye my hair like there was no tomorrow.
i've tried every color since i was 13.. but barely last year i started growing my own hair out again bc to my surprise i didnt even know wtf my real natural color was.
i went a couple weeks ago to cut my hair & the gay guy cutting my hair was like amazed at my color & im like...

..yeah, i know

Christophe anti-frizz syrum is the only stuff i use. it smells so wonderful and luxurious (like a pricey salon product) but it's $10 at walgreens. you can use it on your hair before blow drying to prevent frizz and help the brush glide through your hair easily, or you can put it on dry hair to smooth out frizzy ends and make it smell good. i put it in dry hair mostly.

ahhhhhhh that's crazy. my friend has colored her hair 35118684948 times but her hair is so....blah now. like it looks fried. idk, I don't really see a point in coloring it. First off I don't think I can pull off any color (except maybe brown but why would I do that? lol) and highlights with black hair are ugly (im talking about blonde ones) and red ones would be cool I guess but they fade out so quickly and I don't have the money to keep re-doing highlights so I just stick to the natural color now lol until whenever I start getting grays or something.

oh and I forgot to mention that though I don't use gel and shit like that I do use some anti frizz serums when I get out of the shower or when I'm blow drying my hair. I haven't used any in a while but I should buy some soon because of the humidity now in the summer lol.

Posted by Ivand on May-28-2009 19:03:

the alarm sounds at 7, wank, get out of bed at 7:25, iron my shirt if its not already, pack my lunch if it isnt, check email/news, shower (that takes me 20 minutes or so), get dressed, pack everything (i carry A LOT of things in my bag) leave for work at 8:30 - 8:40

Posted by Banora on May-28-2009 19:12:

About ten minutes: wake up, brush teeth, brush hair, wash face, put on clothes, leave.

Take it the night before. I can't take showers in the morning, I'll fall back asleep.

I have to catch the train that leaves at 0641. The train station is a 1 mile (1.61km) walk from home. Gotta get there early enough to secure a good seat too. Which is only 5-7mins early really. I usually board the train at about 0634.

Posted by Arbiter on May-28-2009 21:07:

Lately I've been getting up at 5:00 and leaving at 9:30. I'm definitely not 'getting ready' for 4.5 hours though, hahaha, more like 15 minutes.

Posted by Lilith on May-28-2009 21:12:

I get up at 6am, do callisthenics and low-impact workout for an hour to avoid the 'not-a-morning' person until she buggers off to work, all going well I'll not have to progress past shower, slippers, back into pyjamas until 12 while I sort out bits and pieces, then lunch, clothes on and go for an hour walk.

So yeah, roughly 6 and half hours

Posted by we_R_DNA on May-28-2009 21:22:

I wake up around 3pm or 5pm and am ready to work instantly; just like instant oatmeal except I don't need a microwave.

Being unemployed has benefits and I get my food by fishing right before dusk. Thanks to Wal-Mart's 38$ Fishing license.

Posted by Moongoose on May-28-2009 21:23:

Wake up at 5, go for a run with the dog (if its not raining), breakfast, coffee, shower, check ta, out of the door at 6:45.

That was when i had to get up for work, but since i dont have to do that any more i sleep in now...i dont wake up until about 7, sometimes even 7:30.

Posted by BTG on May-28-2009 21:30:

6:02 = Alarm. Decide if i'm going to wake up now and take the 401 or hit the snooze and sleep until 630 and take the 407.

630 = wake up again, shower, get dressed. get something for lunch.

645 = out the door, go to coffee and hope i make good time so that i don't have to take the 407.

8 am = work.
